There is something rather compelling about fragments of classical form - objects that feel as though they have a history, even when they have only just been made.

These pieces are part of the growing collection at Plaster & Form, exploring the beauty of architectural ornament, sculpture and the imperfect character of aged plaster.

From expressive classical figures and architectural details to sculptural fragments, each piece is individually cast and finished by hand in the UK. I’m particularly interested in the way plaster can capture the smallest details while still retaining the softness and irregularity that makes an object feel old and lived with.

Designed to sit comfortably in both traditional and contemporary interiors, they are pieces to collect, display and live with - rather than simply decorate with.

The collection is available to view at plasterandform.com
