Batman - Plastic Heads Collage

I’ve had my eye on creating a Batman Plastic Head collage for quite some time now!

So here it is: a collection of all the characters I’ve photographed so far from DC’s heroes and villains within the Batman universe. I hope to expand this in the future with more Plastic Heads from the various toy lines of the 80s and 90s that I’ve yet to include.

Trying to educate the kids on the toys I grew up with… they’re just not bothered 😂

Plastic Head: Peter Pan 🧚

It’s game time! Anyone know when this figure was released and who made it? I’ve been digging around online but can’t find a bloody thing about it! 😂

Help me out, toy detectives! 👀

Plastic Head: Killer Croc 🐊

Kenner - Batman: The Animated Series - 1993

Been needing to post this one for a while now! After Clayface, I thought it was about time I shared another one of my favourite Batman villains.

Killer Croc has always been a favourite of mine, especially from Batman: The Animated Series!

It’s that time of year when the ghouls, ghosts and shape-shifting villains of the DC Universe get their own origin movie! 👻

One of my favourite villains growing up was always Clayface. After seeing him in Batman: The Animated Series, I was fascinated by the horror elements behind the character and how creepy his whole story was.

I’m really looking forward to seeing what they do with him on the big screen. Off to see the movie on Monday with the Mrs! 🎬

Plastic Head: Air Attack Peter Pan - He Can Fly - Mattel - 1991

I absolutely loved Hook as a kid and still do. One of Spielberg’s underrated movies in my opinion. Such great sets, actors and of course that incredible musical score by John Williams.

It always reminds me of Christmas too. I remember getting the VHS and I’m pretty sure I had this figure and Captain Hook as well.

Lucky enough to find this one in the bargain bin at Nerdbase and had to give him the Plastic Head treatment 📸

Plastic Head: Mickey Mouse Safari Explorer Disney 1990s

Found this little fella in the bargain bin at Nerdbase, actually picked out by Mrs Plastic Head herself! 😂

My first Disney character for Plastic Head and really, it had to start with Mickey, didn’t it?

Mickey in full safari explorer mode, complete with the brilliant pith helmet and red neckerchief. A proper little 90s Disney figure and one I probably wouldn’t have picked up if it wasn’t for Mrs Plastic Head!

Plastic Head: Frostbite – Mr Freeze Henchman – Batman & Robin – Kenner – 1997

Found this dude in the toy box where action figures go to die basically, ha! Picked him up at Nerd Base.

I had an inkling he was something to do with Batman and Mr Freeze, and turns out he’s one of his henchmen from Batman & Robin (1997).

The film was absolutely pants, but this guy is pretty cool! 😂❄️

Plastic Head: Nelson Muntz – The Simpsons – Mattel – 1990

The bully of Springfield! One of the original figures from Mattel’s 1990 Simpsons toy line.

One of my favourite early episodes is Bart the General, where Bart enlists Grandpa and the school kids to take on Nelson.

I’ve now just got Bartman to find and I’ll have the complete set.

Happy 40th anniversary to The Legend of Zelda! 🗡️🛡️

The first Zelda game I ever played was Ocarina of Time, and it’s still one of those games that has stuck with me all these years.

And now I’ve seen the remake… it’s everything I’ve wanted it to be.

Looking forward to that one, Nintendo!
