Ranabaali: The Ledger of Blood
This @playable_thoughts animation brings to life a cinematic rebellion born from the darkest chapter of British colonial India. Set against the horrifying backdrop of the Great Famine of 1876, this project captures the agonizing reality of nearly ten million lives lost to institutional starvation while the British Raj exported vital grain to Europe. It visualizes the absolute cruelty of the colonial labor camps and the subhuman conditions our ancestors endured under the ruthless Temple Wage.
While the tragedy is devastatingly real, our protagonist Ranabaali (starring @thedeverakonda) is a fictional symbol. He is a legendary warrior crafted from the collective spirit, folklore, and resilience of many unsung historical rebels of the Deccan region. I wanted to capture the transition from grief to fury, showing how the weight of a dying population forces a protector to rise. This film honors the stolen generations of southern India, turning cold historical numbers into a raw cinematic cry for dignity and resistance.

CAPTAIN AMERICA | A PLAYABLE THOUGHTS ANIMATED TRIBUTE
The serum didn’t make the man, it just gave a guy with absolute balls a body that could finally keep up. 🛡️⚡
When animating this piece, my vision was to capture the sheer grit, power, and unyielding evolution of Captain America. I wanted every shield throw and heavy impact to reflect his entire cinematic journey, highlighting the fact that Steve Rogers was exactly who he was from the very beginning. The serum gave him the muscle, but the courage was already there. This is the story of a scrawny kid from Brooklyn who had the massive guts to jump on a live grenade, went on to command "Avengers, assemble," and ended up standing entirely alone against an invading alien army.
Steve Rogers showed the universe that a true hero doesn't care about the odds when freedom is on the line. He went from fighting his own friends in Civil War because he refused to compromise on what was right, boldly telling Tony Stark "he's my friend," all the way to standing face-to-face with Thanos and declaring "I can do this all day." He knew the cost of the fight, yet he still caught Mjolnir out of mid-air and led the charge for the ultimate stand.
From a vintage hero out of time to the definitive heart of the Avengers, his legacy is ironclad.

IRONMAN | A PLAYABLE THOUGHTS ANIMATION TRIBUTE
The armor was never meant to keep the world out; it was built to forge a legend capable of standing against the universe. 🦾⚡
When animating this piece, my vision was to capture the absolute weight, power, and unyielding evolution of Iron Man. I wanted the mechanical movements and shifting plates to reflect his entire eleven year journey. This is the story of a man who started with a crude Mark 1, casually commanding "Jarvis, drop my needle," and ended up designing nanotech capable of drawing blood from a Titan.
Tony Stark proved time and again that a hero isn't defined by the metal they wear, but by the relentless will to face down the impossible. He went from boldly telling Loki "We have a Hulk" to looking Thanos dead in the eye on Titan and declaring "You throw another moon at me, and I’m gonna lose it." He knew that part of the journey is the end, yet he still stepped onto the ultimate battlefield to deliver the definitive line that started it all: "And I... am... Iron Man."
From a billionaire in a cave to the ultimate shield for humanity, his legacy is unshakeable.

As Albert Camus once said, 'The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.' In this animation, I wanted to capture that exact spirit, that paradise isn't a place you're given, but a freedom you seize.

Had an absolute blast animating this tribute to Nani’s upcoming movie. The energy was unmatched, the process was pure joy, and matching it to the raw beats of "Aaya Sher" just brought the whole vision together.

Heartbreak has different rhythms, but the core emotion remains exactly the same. When I was creating these visuals, my vision was to see if a single piece of animation could speak two entirely different emotional languages. I wanted to capture the quiet, butterfly-inducing restraint of the Metro Proposal BGM and the high-energy, infectious groove of @abhyankkar 's Radhimaa using the exact same visuals, proving that the language of longing adapts to whatever beat you give it 🎬🖤✨.

There is a unique beauty in how both of these tracks capture the art of not letting go. While one is a silent sigh, the other is a dance through the pain. But beneath the layers, both tracks fight the exact same battle: the exhausting, daily struggle of holding onto memories in the dark while trying to show the world we’ve moved on. We wrap our grief in different sounds, but the weight of an empty space doesn't change.Ultimately, it forces us to realize that moving on isn’t a single final step, but a constant friction between the mind wanting to leave and the heart refusing to follow. We change the soundtrack of our lives, yet we remain anchored to the exact same ghosts. 🎧🌊

Sometimes, music doesn't need words to speak. I fell in love with the emotional restraint and pure magic of @abhyankkar 's Metro Proposal BGM from Dude, and I just had to bring it to life through my own animation. This project is all about those silent, butterfly-inducing moments where everything else fades away.
We often confuse the agony of holding on with the depth of our love, transforming a past connection into a beautiful, exhausting prison. Dostoevsky deeply understood this flaw in the human psyche, writing in Notes from Underground that "man is sometimes extraordinarily, passionately in love with suffering." In the art of not letting go, we do exactly that. We fall in love with the ache. So many of us silently walk through this every single day, keeping our grief alive in the dark, masking the heavy daily struggle of replaying old memories while pretending we’ve moved on. We turn our devotion into a quiet martyrdom, refusing to accept that the ultimate act of love isn’t the strength to grip tighter, but the terrifying courage to face the empty space they left behind.

It makes you wonder: are we actually holding onto the person, or have we just become addicted to the beautiful pain of missing them?

The repeat value of the Kateramma fight in Salaar Part 1 is just insane. I can watch this scene a million times and still get goosebumps every single time.
