Earlier this year, I was approached by the @pbn1 Team and asked to join the @playbackcreates Program, involving mentoring, workshops & time at one of the best studios in the Midlands @apsstudio.co.uk . A few studio sessions later, myself, @kaedee101_spock , @dippsbhamrah & @chanmudhawala came up with an original (🙉!!) all about love❤️ Put together some of my favourite bits from the process, including performing the song live, and of course some BTS moments too💃🏽Hugeeee big up to @gbusiness, @playbackcreates , and everyone supporting the journey so far🙏🏽 Love ya x P.S. Is it time to release this one? ‘je tu sajna surma ban javen, tenu nit naina vich paavan’ If only you could become khol for my eyes, my love, I’d keep you in my eyes every day💘 taken in APS Studio by @playbackcreates

What an amazing experience it was… I feel so blessed be part of the maiden cohort of the @playbackcreates From being nervous to feeling confident in composing my music…the journey in this nurturing space was incredible. I had a basic melody in my mind and then… with amazing mentorship of @dippsbhamrah @pbn1 and amazing production by @kaedee101_spock sir I was able to create my first ever solo instrumental song. @gbusiness thank you for all your support!! ‘A Dream with Wings’ A BIG THANK YOU to entire team!! And A BIG SHOUTOUT to my fellow artists!! Finally, I feel confident about thinking, expressing myself and being vulnerable to others through my own compositions!! #nicehogeya #shukar #chardhikala #nicehogeya taken in Vaal & Vaal by @playbackcreates

A snapshot of the journey. 🎙️ Some of the Homegrown cohort in the studio this week, putting the finishing touches on their tracks. Ideas turning into songs. Sessions turning into performances. Next stop… the stage. Tonight the artists are getting ready to perform their music live in front of an audience, and we can’t wait for you to hear what they’ve created. #PlaybackCreates #HomegrownArtists #StudioSessions #EmergingTalent #UKMusicScene taken in Wolverhampton, England, UK by @playbackcreates

This week we officially kicked off Homegrown with a driven, hungry and inspiring group of emerging South Asian talent exploring genres from Hip Hop, Neo Soul, Pop and R&B, Panjabi and Indian classical, through to Rock and Heavy Metal. Over the next six weeks, this cohort will be working in professional recording studios, learning together, collaborating and building real momentum with industry support behind them. It all leads to a live showcase and performance this March at Vaal & Vaal, Wolverhampton. This is talent, culture, and community. 🔥🎶🎤 taken in Vaal & Vaal by @playbackcreates
