BALI BABY + another reunion!! My roommate from Madrid @phoebeperkss came all the way from the UK/France to meet us for our first 3 weeks in SE Asia!!! This reunion was three years in the making 🥺🫶🏻

We stayed in the cutest villa in Seminyak for 5 days. Our first few days were spent getting some much needed r&r poolside + a spa day. We got sunset drinks at Ku De Ta and enjoyed Balinese dinners + many poolside Radlers 🍋🍺 taken in Seminyak, Bali by @playedtimeoff

📍Great Barrier Reef, Australia

We made it to the Great Barrier Reef!! We did a full day boat trip from Cairns and travelled TWO hours to the outer reef. We snorkeled at Saxton and Hastings reef and saw the most incredible coral and fish. The marine biologist on board was awesome and taught us about all the types of coral and even did a guided tour in the water pointing everything out to us. The water was pretty rocky even out on the reef which gave us a little bit of trouble snorkeling but it was such an incredible experience. Got up close with Fred, a massive Maori wrasse fish who frequents the mooring at Saxton Reef 🐠

📍Mission Beach, Australia

Spontaneous stop! We were scheduled to take a long train ride from Airlie to Cairns buuutt we had a chaotic change of plans. We had to rent a car and drive the distance ourselves which was not ideal (💸😭) but our only option and our car was infested with ants ❤️❤️ We enjoyed 8 hours of murdering the pesky insects and left a graveyard on the dashboard 🙃 When not occupied by our uninvited passengers, we enjoyed the banana trees and sugar cane fields of North Queensland along the drive. Mission beach was just outside of Cairns and has so many beautiful palm trees so we stopped there to stretch our legs and (of course) climb a tree 🌴

We made it to Cairns after a long day and even got some money back for the ant situation 🙏 Ready for the Reef?! taken in Mission Beach, Nth Queensland by @playedtimeoff

📍Airlie Beach, Whitsunday Islands, Australia

Spy Kids? No, Fly Kids 😎✈️🪂

I Skydived 14,000ft with Daryl Sabata’s doppelgänger and it was probably the most insane experience of my life 💯 While you can’t tell from the footage, it was raining and the free-fall was far from enjoyable 😂 The many “oh my gods” were from the rain drops that like little shards of glass :/ I had pelts all over my arms afterwards. My ears also wouldn’t un-pop so that was quite uncomfortable too. However… the parachute ride down was incredible 🤩 Beautiful views of the blue water and Whitsunday Islands as we cruised down. A few scary gusts of wind made our parachute a little too close to parallel to the ground for my liking but all is good because we made the beach landing 🙏

📍Brisbane, Australia

While short, our time in Brisbane was so great! We gave Chandler the warmest welcome to Australia with a luxury airport pickup courtesy of @luciegeorge (she takes tips 🤑) Then Lucie generously hosted an afternoon get-together with all her friends who each brought a snack for us to try! We had fairy bread, Vegemite scrolls, jam sponge rolls (unpopular with the crowd), dips, cookies, and passionfruit lychee punch 😋 We enjoyed a lively dinner and evening with the Georges 🥰

On Super Bowl Monday Courtney set up camp at a sports bar to watch the game and Chandler and I joined for the Rihanna concert 🤠 We explored the Kangaroo Point Cliffs and did a great job figuring out how to take the ferry over (not)! We walked through south bank and west end checking out thrift shops, street art, and of course indulging in açaí bowls 🍓🥣

We met up with Lucie for after work dinner and drinks at the Wharves which had a lovely view of the river and skyline 🏙️ After finishing the night at El Camino (duh) we said bye to Lucie 🥲 and prepared for our next adventure 🤪
