We were thrilled to have artist Misha Fair in our National Room at The Playroom, putting in the work and preparing for her upcoming performance at Amos Southend as part of Confluence Festival in Charlotte, NC. From rehearsal room to the stage, we love being a space where artists can lock in, create, and get performance-ready. And there’s even more to look forward to… Misha’s brand-new single, “South of Seattle,” drops October 22nd! Go catch Misha at Confluence Festival, and keep an ear out for the new single. https://www.mishafair.com/ #ThePlayroom #MishaFair #ConfluenceFestival #AmosSouthend #CharlotteNC #CharlotteMusic #LiveMusic #MusicRehearsal #RehearsalStudio #IndependentArtist #NewMusic #ComingSoon https://theplayroomonline.com by @playroomonline

We’ve had the pleasure of hosting The Ziad Jazz Quartet in our National Room this week! Led by our long-time friend Ziad Rabie, the quartet includes Charlotte music stalwarts Lovell Bradford (keys), Al Sergel (drums), Nelson Rios (bass), and Omar Porter (percussion). Featuring Nicolas Bearde on lead vocals, the group will appear on Friday, October 2 to showcase 'Jarreau and Beyond' at The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art. https://www.bechtler.org/jazzatthebechtler https://ThePlayroomOnline.com #ThePlayroomOnline #ThePlayroom #RehearsalSpace #CharlotteNC #ThePlayroomCharlotte by @playroomonline

They’re back and sounding better than ever! It was absolutely wonderful having John Tosco and his party band back rehearsing in our Production Room! As they gear up for the massive FabFest Daytime event at CPCC this Saturday, we got a front-row seat to the magic—and wow, the energy was unmatched. From the crisp harmonies to those classic Beatles tunes, unmistakable rhythms, they filled the room with incredible sound. If their rehearsal is any indication, Charlotte is in for an unforgettable show this weekend! Good luck to John and the entire band on Saturday—we loved hosting you! #ToscoMusic #FabFestCharlotte #LiveMusicCharlotte #CharlotteMusic #RehearsalSpace #CLTmusic #BeatlesTribute #theplayroom #SupportLocalMusic https://toscomusic.org https://fabfestcharlotte.org/buy-tickets https://theplayroomonline.com by @playroomonline

We loved hosting the incredibly talented indie duo @KismetKind in our National Room at The Playroom! Ashley and Corinne brought their signature "Sad Girl Rock" energy to the studio, and we were completely blown away by their sound. After they crushed their rehearsal, we got to show them around the rest of our facilities for a full studio tour. #ThePlayroom #KismetKind #NationalRoom #RehearsalStudio #IndieRock #SupportLocalMusic #StudioTour #SadGirlRock https://ThePlayroomOnline.com by @playroomonline

We were thrilled to have Gospel artist Isaiah Bell rehearsing in our National Room with his incredible band featuring Tim Scott on drums, Nero Tindal IV on Guitar, Ulis Redic on Keys, and Courtney Gibson on Bass. as they prepared for their upcoming gathering at Middle C Jazz in Charlotte on September 20th. Excited to have Avalora with us again this week! Avalora is five Charlotte locals who grew up screaming along to the radio and decided to do something about it. They take the pop songs everyone secretly loves and run them through fuzz pedals, four-on-the-floor drums, and harmonies that go off the rails. Catch them next Saturday, September 5th at The Gin Mill in Charlotte. https://linktr.ee/avaloraband https://ThePlayroomOnline.com #ThePlayroomOnline #ThePlayroom #RehearsalSpace #CharlotteNC by @playroomonline

We were delighted to show our facility to the wonderful people from the Kids Workshop along with their generous caretakers. It was inspiring to hear about their musical interests and talents, we even got to see a few of them perform for us in preparation for an upcoming talent show! We all know music to be a universal language and an artistic outlet but we sometimes forget it's therapeutic power to our minds and bodies. The Kids Workshop mission is to cultivate a nurturing environment that fosters intellectual, physical, and emotional growth to individuals with development disabilities. Our Production Room was transformed this past weekend for an intimate listening party and preview of the album “Worship Leader’s Diary” by dynamic and talented singer ANTHNY from Nashville, TN. It was a pleasure hosting ANTHNY’s party and hearing his new music. The event ended with a live performance, and we got to hear his powerful voice in person. The album will be released Sept 25th.
