HAUTE WHEELS: UNLACED

Step on set and behind the scenes for the creation of the Chicago grown short film “Haute Wheels” by @jessbatson .

What does it take to rally the most top of their class crew and talent all to one historic Chicago location? Better yet, make it a collaborative effort with the highest vibrations and biggest smiles you’ve ever seen at work. Give us fashion, give us dancers, give us music, give us skaters! MAKE IT MOVE! Now put them all in a maximalist world dripping with eye candy in every corner and on every inch.

What a blessing it is to be nominated for a show that shines a light on the immense awesomeness of Chicago and with a team whose awesomeness makes Chicago so much more shiny with their talent and energy. We worked very hard but it was a pleasure to do with @cortneyhall @wu_cinda @lifemadestill @knutson2 ❤️ along with countless people behind the scenes and of course the stars of the show @carriemccormickrealestate @bencohenlends !! I’m so proud of our inaugural season and so grateful for all you’ve poured into this project.
.
.
And more personally, a very special thank you to @rachel_h2o . My shining North Star of a producer, mentor, and (my favorite) friend ❤️ you showed me what it looks like to empower people on your sets and how beautiful it is when a production is produced with love. Thank you for always making time for my questions, hearing my frustrations and guiding me aways to the greater good for the team and the bottom line for myself. Couldn’t have found my way here without your directions ❤️
.
.
@cortneyhall you are a flippin Queen and a creative powerhouse and I’m grateful you trusted @campnitz with your (broadcast) baby! Having the chance to work with you has been and continues to be soooo scarily…easy lol and hilariously fun! You have such a special energy that you give graciously to the people around you and watching you interact with everyone from tech millionaires to horse people to the lady working the bodega who recognizes you from your daytime show; reminds me of how lucky I am to work with someone so kind.
.
.
As always; thank you to the two people who inspire me, teach me, and make me feel like all my “far fetched” dreams aren’t far away at all @stephennitz and Sage Veda ❤️ I love you.

Thank you God for hearing my silly little daydreams/prayers and always providing and surprising with way more than I could ever expect 🙏🏾
