When Maa comes home with her children, to us (her children )we welcome her with the finest food, beautiful jewellery, new sarees, endless bhog, and all the little things that make her feel loved and cherished. The iconic soulful voice of Birendra Krishna Bhadra, the fragrance of shiuli, ttge dewy autumn morning, the sparkle of her adornments, and the joy of being together that our hearts find home.

Because when Maa is home, it isn’t just a festival we celebrate; it’s love and her belongingness right here on earth. 🌺✨

When the breeze starts carrying that unmistakable Pujo feeling and a little nip in the air. ❤️ In Bengali, we say #pujorgondho
How can I not bring out my second skin — the saree? 😉 #iykyk❤️

कुछ चीज़ें जितनी सरल हों, उतनी ही खूबसूरत लगती हैं…
जैसे परिवार के साथ बैठना, बिना किसी खास वजह के हँसना, छोटी-छोटी बातों पर बहस करना और फिर उसी पल सब भूल जाना। ❤️
ज़िंदगी की भागदौड़ में हम बहुत कुछ पाने की कोशिश करते हैं,
पर सुकून अक्सर वहीं मिलता है जहाँ अपने लोग साथ होते हैं।

When your sister is miles away, yet somehow knows exactly what would make your heart happy… that’s love in its purest form.
A handloom lover herself, she chose the most beautiful hand-embroidered maheshwari lambani dupatta for me — and in that one little gesture, she sent me so much more than a gift. She sent a piece of her love, her thoughtfulness, and a little reminder that distance can never come between sisters❤️🧿

Sisters have this quiet magic… they remember the things you love, notice the little details, send unexpected surprises, check on you without being asked, listen to the same stories a hundred times, and somehow know when you need a little extra love.
We may live miles apart, have our own lives and our own chaos, but there is an invisible thread that keeps us connected — woven with childhood memories, shared secrets, laughter, silly fights, unconditional support and a lifetime of knowing each other.
Thank you, Di @jayeeta.d for this beautiful piece and for always making me feel loved, even from miles away. I absolutely loved it! 🤩❤️
