The second release on Enrica Falqui and Out Of Office’s Plexus 4 imprint comes from Brussels- based artist DC Salas. His latest EP navigates the dancefloor with depth, emotion and distinct energy.
“Geographical Luck” opens in motion, unfolding into fast-paced 303 acid and a driving bassline. Subtle percussive details and urgent snares propel the track forward, while luminous choir pads lift it into something celestial. “Create or Combust” leans into atmosphere, its fragmented delays and spacious synth lines gliding seamlessly building tension and intrigue.
Percussion plays an integral role in “Forever Nows,” where poignant chords give way to a breakdown featuring expansive analogue synth stabs that surge into Belgian new beat aesthetics. On “She Won’t Leave Us Anyway,” a warping bassline builds intensity, while glimmering melodies and uplifting pads evoke hope and melancholy.

ERIS, AKA Enrica Falqui and Dea Dvornik, mint the Plexus 4 label with the ‘Glimmers’ EP. Kicking off the record, ‘Kundalini Rising’ is the perfect balance between driving house kicks and warped synth work—it is both physical and cerebral, packed with charming sonic details and occult melodies. ‘Serpente’ picks up the pace with punchy percussive house drums and more curiously meandering lead synths that show ERIS’ expert mastery of their studio gear.
Continuing ERIS’ ‘Glimmers’ EP on Plexus 4, the bouncy ‘Anticipation’ boasts scintillating, high-speed drum patterns overlaid with smudged pads and bouncing synth phrases, bringing plenty of futuristic feel to the classically inclined 909s. Superb closer ‘Game Over’ is a silky electro workout with nods to Detroit and again is defined by characterful, riding sequences that dart around the mix.
