✨Hey there obsessive readers and exhausted writers☕️
~In this story,we don’t read competitively. We live one chapter at a time. And write sparingly~

POSTS STORIES REELS

These five little things seem like nothing special and you’d pretty much be right about that 😅

I just found a flexible schedule that works for my lifestyle and routines. No one method is a size-fits-all unfortunately but I’ve stopped the need to feeling guilty about how I choose to spend my time. I just discovered that I feel most writing productive at night and I don’t mind staying up a bit late. That may not work for you, but it was a random discovery of trial and error to find a way that got me excited about writing again. Blame on the cool nights, fresh air, the buzz after a happy day, the quietness - I’ll take the win.

What’s your secret tip or writing routine that changed it up and got you into writing again more consistently?? I’d love to chat about it 🫶🏻💕☕️

Hi friends I can’t believe that it’s already the wrapup for October so here we go ✏️💕

I have obviously been reading a lot and I have slowly been releasing some mini reviews including books such as by any other name and Carl‘s doomsday scenario and there will also be more to come.

I have gone back to my nostalgic roots of when I was nine years old and got my first PSP and I’ve been glued to Sims two and surfs up anyone remember those?

And I have also gotten back to my baking a girl era and I am excited to continue baking and getting into that again.

i’ve also been embracing my hobby life including colouring and crochet I love this piece that are made for a friend it is my little firecracker bunny and it was created by @amenagerieofstitches 🫶🏻I found it on her blog in case you want to check her out she is so amazing to be able to share this huge bundle with us on a blog. And this little colouring piece turned out perfect I was worried about my previous bleed through and that I wouldn’t be able to save this picture but I did and it looks great

I hope that your October also treated you well but I am so ready for November and the holiday festivities✨

Hi bookish besties, I can’t believe we’re ready to wrap up October ✨

One of the best ways I love closing the month is with a rec and review.
I finished this book early into October and it’s still with me honestly.
Have I influenced your TBR for this one???

What are you currently reading? Let’s chat about it

Hi book besties, here’s a mini review for you all ✨✏️

Dungeon Crawler book two: Carls Doomsday Scenario

I personally do not like the rating system of a book. I feel that it’s so … impersonal in a way. Everyone’s tastes and what styles of reading they enjoy differ from one to the next so I’ll chat about this book as a vibe/atmosphere instead, and of it sounds like something up your alley then you may enjoy it ☺️

✨world setting: post apocalyptic/dystopian/game show/ reality tv
✨stakes?: surviving a video game except for real and it’s all about just your one life game over kind of deal. And companions include animals and npc friends
✨ do you like sassy cats??
✨ do you like clowns??
✨ How about a distracting side quest?

I enjoyed the pacing of this one just as the first book. It reads so effortlessly. A page turner for sure without even realising how quick the story is going.
I love video games and so if you’re a person who also plays games or would like to game more, you may enjoy the light gaming jargon and the stakes involved in an in-depth story/journey game with high stakes. It’s not for the faint of heart.

Now it’s your turn, have I influenced your TBR? Or perchance de-influenced… I’d love to hear if your thoughts on this book if you’ve read it also and how you liked it. Let’s chat about it.

Do you want to hear a more in-depth review on this one? Let me know if you’d like a reel and I’ll talk about it. Or if you have questions about this series so far👏🏻

Hey there summer memories ☀️🌸

I know everyone is embracing fall, but for me, it’s all about summer 💛 I’m not a summer lover but when it’s summer in a small coastal town, and you get to do trail walks, swims in the ocean, picnics on the beach, summer bakes and reading outside - or pretty much most hobbies in the warmth of the sun and the cool breeze, summer becomes more bearable.

Which season is your favourite?? I’m definitely a winter girlie, but trying my best to embrace my summer girl era right now.

How are you friends☺️🫶🏻✏️

I have been very very quiet about my latest manuscript and the drafting process that I have been going through but I would just like to give you a sneak peek into the atmosphere of the things explored in my book
💕French Medieval Princess Knight vibes 💕

If you’re keen to know more — leave a comment or question and we’ll chat about it ☺️✨

What stage are you in the writing process at the moment?? What are your current reads also?

Hi friends, a little entry for how October is going ✨🌼

Since I’m not a super fan of creepy season, I lean into the cutesy side - and I just couldn’t resist crocheting this little bat in blue petite velvet yarn, and this cutie is a free pattern by @avaloncrochets on her YT channel, I love her patterns and this one came out quick and adorable ☺️💙 do you guys crochet or do hobbies that lean into the season ??
Because I’m also really into my colouring this month and baking too. It’s like a requirement 😋☕️

I’m currently reading 61 hours and Star Trek:Relics and at the beginning of October I finished Carls doomsday scenario so I’ll have a review coming up about it, so watch this space ✏️✨

What are you reading right now ?? And if you want to connect with fellow readers, writers and hobby enthusiasts, you’re in the right place, thank you for stopping by 💕

Hey friends, here’s a little sneak peek of my week ✨☕️

I started off Monday string with a mini book haul and I’ve already started on 61 Hours - so far I’m hooked. And these are preloved books so the profits go to charity and Im all here for it.

Wednesday I baked THE BEST cookies, a recipe from my grandmas kitchen - she calls them Bran fruit delights 😋 - they actually taste better with age, so days later they’re softer, more moist and have a more intense flavour. One of my favourite recipes for cookies.

This cozy colouring picture I did is from Cozy Friends by @cocowyocoloring they have the cutest books and I’m now obsessed with them.

And finishing the weekend off with little crochet projects and a yarn haul to fill my stock ☺️🧶💕 any excuse really to have more supplies for my cute little hobbies.

I love that this week has been both relaxing and busy 😅✏️ I’ve balanced my hobbies with work and there’s nothing like it. I can’t believe how quick this year is flying and I’m so ready for the festive season actually ☺️✨

What have you guys been reading and doing hobby-wise this week??? Let’s chat about it

I’ve been thinking a lot about getting outside more, now that I’m moving around a bit more in my recovery at home❤️☕️ and crafts that I enjoy taking with me for a picnic or just to sit at my lil table and chair in the garden- include a good cup of coffee, books to read, cozy colouring books to colour, my sketch book for just that, and I’ve yet to try writing sessions on my laptop or crochet, but I’m sure they are just as soothing in the fresh air of the changing seasons ☺️🌼🎀

What cozy outdoor activities are you trying or doing right now ?? Id love to know☀️

Hi friends, I’m late in this trend, but that doesn’t bother me. It was so cute.

What would you pick right now for your Sim to do ☺️✨I would definitely pick ignore emails and hobbies ☕️🎀

What’s your current read and or hobbies right now in between your writing sessions/work ✏️🌸

I’ll go first:
☕️I’m a multi reader so I’m between Star Trek the next generation- Relics; 61 Hours and Icebreaker
😌❤️ I’m loving my colouring times and crochet the most recently.
Last night I just finished my first baby blanket for my laddies charity group and it just makes me so happy to be a part of something outside of myself.
Plus I’m feeling so good about slowly getting out of my writing slump for the last couple of weeks. ✨👏🏻

Goodbye September, hello October 🌼💕

This month I celebrated a mini book haul:
✨Pachinko
✨Winter Garden
✨ ice breaker
✨Maybe in another life
✨Beach read

I also finished Arch conspirator, Taking the Reins and started Carls Doomsday scenario and ice breaker.
Many afternoons were spent with cozy colouring sessions and crochet - that cute little blue bat I made is a free pattern by @avaloncrochets, so beginner friendly and fun☺️💙 I wore my new pants, sewn by yours truly and during a quick shop run, I came across the cutest unicorn sprinkles and fantastical cupcake mix all suited for the season if you ask me. Finishing the month off with a cute yarn haul as well to keep cozy crocheting through the season🧶

I hope you all had a wonderful September ☺️✏️, and many happy wishes for a cozy October ahead. Any plans??? Let’s chat about it 💕☕️
