They love each other 💕 A few shots of the most perfect day celebrating a beautiful love story. My heart is bursting with love for my girl and her amazing husband. Welcome to the family Dylan ❤️ Photos by @cassileigh_photography by @plumsandroses
Feeling the Fall vibes over here! Time for upcycled cashmere sweaters to keep us cozy while we gather firewood and harvest the garden. Or drink coffee on the deck wrapped up in a blanket. Or cry because summer is always too short. Come see me at the Hills Garlicfest on September 13, booth 180, for all your cozy handmade whimsies! I only do a few shows a year these days so come say hello if you can! #handmadeinbc #vintagetextiles #madeinthemountains by @plumsandroses
A little diary of places I’ve swam so far this summer, my favourite thing to do. by @plumsandroses
Had the sweetest little gathering for the bride. A picnic in the yard, the woodshed for shade, my best friends who are like Aunties to my daughter and our soon to be in laws from GF. The countdown to the wedding is on! by @plumsandroses
A few moments of calm in a year that has already proven to be bananas #beautifuĺbritishcolumbia by @plumsandroses
It’s a funny thing, to love someone you didn’t really know, and to grieve their passing like a family members. But I did this back in 1995 when I was 22 and Jerry Garcia died. Now I am 52 and it’s Bob Weir, our Bobby, and it still feels tough. I’ve joked since I was 16 that my religion is Deadhead, that I’m part of a cult, but yesterday one of my long time best friends and fellow DH, put it best, we are part of the biggest family in the world. And Bobby was our big brother. I met him a few times over the years, the first time in 1991. He was always smart and funny and seemed to enjoy interacting with fans. He saw us a family as well. He gave us so much music until the very end. He embodied the lyrics to Playing in the Band, the music never stopped. Until now. This is a picture from my last show at the Sphere in Vegas, with my little sister who’s been at most of the shows with me since she was some ridiculously young age. I took my own daughter to countless Further shows and every opportunity to see ‘our’ music. My entire family has been touched by the music of the Grateful Dead for so many years that they have all gotten on the bus as well. (My niece is named Cassidy!) So many of my best friends were made because we were all part of this circus, this universe. My life is what it is because of the Grateful Dead, there is really no other way to say it. And it’s so good. The hole this leaves is bigger then I thought, but the music will always be there. I love you more then words can tell #bobwier #themusicneverstopped by @plumsandroses
Larch madness One of the most beautiful hikes around, done with some of my favourite people. Last picture is me after seeing Jumbo glacier in the wild for the first time. (It’s in the background.) There were many years of working to keep it from becoming a huge high end ski resort. Many folks in the Kootenays including myself, put a ton of time and energy into keeping it exactly like this. Spent the night at a little secluded beach on the lake, no one but us and the dogs. The moon was bright and the meteor showers were in full swing. This midnight long exposure photo looks like a painting of a dream. Magic all around. #slocanlake #beautifulbritishcolumbia #kootsroots #happycampers by @plumsandroses
A lazy afternoon spent with a good book and a river. Swim, read, warm up, repeat. Perfection. (Current book is North Woods, highly recommend if you like things a little creepy) #beautifulbritishcolumbia #kootsroots #ariverrunsthroughit by @plumsandroses
Spent some days in the Okanagan welcoming the spring, celebrating my birthday, and just completely relaxing and enjoying life. A rest and reset 😎 by @plumsandroses
