There truly aren’t enough words to explain what you mean to me. So much of who I am is because of YOU. Your strength, your love, your sacrifices, your personality, and the way you have always shown up for me have shaped the woman and mother I am today.

I’m blessed to still have you here to love on, laugh with, celebrate, and make more memories with. And watching Harley love her Grammie Rhonda makes my heart even fuller. You are a huge part of our lives, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

I pray this next year gives you back some of the love you’ve poured into everyone else over the years. You deserve to be celebrated BIG, not just today, but every day.

Balance got sold to us like it’s a mindset. Set your boundaries. Protect your peace. Log off at 5.

But nobody talks about what’s actually underneath it — somebody who has balance either has a cushion, or has somebody else covering the bills.

That’s not shade. That’s just the math. When the whole thing rests on you and the people depending on you, “logging off” isn’t a boundary you set. It’s a luxury you either have or you don’t.

So a lot of us are out here feeling like we failed at something that was never really a skill issue.

The honest version isn’t balance. It’s seasons. Some of them are heavy, and you’re not doing it wrong because yours is.

Some lessons don’t come gently. Some require you to grieve what you thought you had, what you hoped it would become, and even the version of yourself that worked overtime trying to make the picture match the frame.

I’ve learned that stained glass can be beautiful from a distance while still being made from broken pieces.

These days, I’m less interested in appearances and more interested in alignment. Less concerned with what something could be and more accepting of what it actually is.

My greatest blessing came from one of my greatest lessons, so I’ll never call it a complete loss. 💕

I’m just committed to making sure the woman watching me in the mirror—and the little girl watching me everywhere else—sees someone who kept becoming.

No longer stuck. Just becoming.
