They're not wrong tho. There was something off about Wonka and Charlie.

When Augustus Gloop is sucked up a industrial sludge pipe, when Violet Beauregarde turns into a giant blueberry, when Veruca Salt is cast into an incinerator.... how do the other kids react? With Panic, screaming and terror.

How does Charlie react? Total composure.

Charlie doesn't flinch. He doesn't yell for help. He doesn't even tell Grandpa Joe to back away from machinery. He watches multiple kids suffer gruesome, life-altering injuries right in front of him with a blank, placid smile. Wonka’s torture chamber didn't terrify Charlie. It validated him

Charlie recognized a kindred spirit in Wonka, someone who also viewed human beings as disposable test subjects. Wonka noticed it and thus knew the factory would be safe in Charlie's hands.

Think about it. Anyways this drive was about 290 yards

Had a great time at the "From the Tips tournament" Great weather, great friends, I almost had a hole in one. Second place isn't so bad either. taken in Met Links Golf by @plusminusgolf

Driver is feeling good again. Now I'm able to just line up my shot, step up and swing free.

No overthinking, no constantly adjusting.
Just grip it and rip it.

In a way just stepping up and hitting my shot leaves no room for error. If you spend time practicing on the range, eventually muscle memory knows what to do and will do it without your brain getting in the way.

As KJ says "see ball hit ball"

Have you seen the torque and the lag that Simon gets on the whip? He easily is sitting at 160mph clubhead speed. Have to train like him if I want to add more distance to my clubs.

First time deadlifting in over a year, was happy to get this weight up. Felt like I could have done more but that's a sure way to get on the road to snap city.

Feel free to tell me my form is trash 🫡

What do you think? Is it a sign of society as a whole or just people not knowing basic course care?

Either way it's a shame seeing beautiful courses be in disrepair because of players not doing the basics and repairing pitch marks or filling their divots.
