There are really not enough words or photos to describe these past few months and what they’ve meant to me. So for now, here’s just one that brings me joy because in this moment, that’s all there was. These months have been nothing short of magic. I’ve learned so much about myself and my cooking, I’ve met beautiful people and formed friendships that made me feel home even when home felt far away. I’ve picked vegetables from the earth to fed the hungry bellies of creative minds who - with so much passion - returned from their studios, sat around a shared family meal, and energized me with late night chats about art and life. There’s so many moments to reflect on and over time I will share snippets here and there, even if only just to relive them for one more second. Grazie mille a tutti! 🧡

Growing this child on jars of pickles and other delicious snacks like this gnocchi alla romana. Unlike the gnocchi you all already know and love, this gnocchi is SUPER simple to make and you can eat a second serving without feeling like a big ol potato (spoiler, I think I feel that way now). That’s a wrap on the sailing season. Cooked up a lot of delicious things over the past few months..including one exciting new menu addition arriving this fall🤰🏻 What a season it’s been, filled with highs, lows and some of my very favorite people. grazie mille to my other half @gianlucafabiano for supporting me behind the scenes while I was out at sea 💙

It’s so fun to look back on the first sails we created for tavolotwelve in barca. We knew we wanted to create beautiful experiences in Italy, but didn’t have our own space to host our guests. What we did have was a friend with a boat; and so, tavolotwelve in barca was born. Flash forward to present day, as renovations to our dream tavolotwelve farmhouse begin - I’m taking a moment to reflect on the way the sea and this beautiful sailboat blew me to shore, to Umbria to be exact. So many ideas for what tavolotwelve will look like in the future as the farmhouse takes shape, but there will always be the sea…il nostro tavolotwelve in barca 💙
