🐚🐚OMG!!! I wasn’t going to post today’s thrift find necklace but my friend insisted…it is absolutely gorgeous!!! I believe it is a vintage abalone shell necklace however the shop gal insisted it was some special river pearl bead…regardless the iridescence is incredible!!! The magnetic clasp is soo strong it took out my copper Gret Barkin clip on copper earrings!!! No kidding!!! Anyway…all in all…it doesn’t matter what this necklace is….I just happen to love it!!! 🐚🐚 Found for $10.00 and in perfect condition…no jeweler’s marks…!!!! Fabulous!!!

Not your normal “Froggie went a courtin and he did ride…” kinda frog. This is a vintage hand carved Japanese wooden frog sculpture called an okimono….often valued as a lucky charm. It is 5”L x 3”W x 3”H and signed by the artist…I only wish I could translate. I am guessing this is either cedar or boxwood…and whoever carved it was very talented…this guy is soo realistic!!
I think I’ll name him…Fumiyoshi..!!

🟠🟡I switched out all the BLUE in the back bedroom and I put back all the YELLOW…! 🟠🟡Paintings…lamps…and accessories ect. Moved all the furniture back and forth around…still have to level the Grandfather clock but that’s another story…!! 🟠🟡 Bravo!! 🟠

One of my bedrooms is decorated in hand painted furniture and these two wall brackets will go perfectly hanging on the wall..!! I found them at one of my favorite haunts for pennies!!!

Beautiful carved solid wood…. hand painted with gold gilt finish…mid century Italian wall brackets…9 1/2”H x 8 1/2”W…absolutely gorgeous!!!

🔵🔵I really have never ever liked clowns and that is putting it mildly…..however somehow this little guy endeared himself to me…. I have no idea…just something about him.🔵🔵

This small but mighty vintage 7”W x 9”H oil painting is on canvas board dated 1974 and painted by John Faye. Found at Goodwill for $2.00.

🟣🟣Summertime!!!🟣

I normally put fresh cut flowers in my little baskets but this week the temps were just too hot outside!!! I wound up buying some fake flowers (shocking!!!) and combined them with fresh Arboricola greens…… from a far it doesn’t look too bad!!!! It’ll do for now!🟣Summertime!!!🟣🟣
