Report from the head of procurement: It's THAT time again. For those of you who know, you know. (Cute pup included for scale.)

Introducing Reginald Wellington (aka Reggie). After seven long dogless months, we are back in the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel game. Endless thanks to Jamie Schubert at @CarlsbadCavaliers for working with us and picking out this bundle of joy as our perfect match. We've started training and soon we should be cruising around in the golf cart. by @pmeade316

Fabulous father-son weekend in Los Angeles. We hit the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, dined at Musso and Frank's (of course, it was martinis and red meat), then took in the "I Want My '80s" concert at the Hollywood Bowl. by @pmeade316

Father John Misty, Cal Coast Ampitheater at San Diego State — Well, our sixth FJM show, sadly, did not meet our expectations. It's crazy but our seats were too close and dead-on to the stage-right speaker stack, leaving us bathed in distorted, volume-11 sound and annoying stage lighting. Moving to the top of the 4,600-seat outdoor structure (that was easy, the show was far from sold out) toward the end was the fix, plus it let us enjoy the amazingly diverse audience, many of whom turned out specifically to see second-opener Lucinda Williams, who has bravely battled back from a stroke in 2020. by @pmeade316

We have a rabbit family of three living in a thicket hedge at the front of our property. Every morning and evening they venture out of their hutch to nibble on the grass. We leave them cuttings from the herb garden, which they seem to treat as dessert as they traverse the lawn first. by @pmeade316

I have no doubt that Alison Krauss has the best voice I have ever experienced live. Her angelic soprano delivered in full effect last night backed by her superb Union Station band. Definitely the best show we have been to this year. They all gathered around one microphone to do an unplugged encore set. by @pmeade316
