Thank you for the love on Only You 🫶🏻 your time spent listening and connecting to it means a lot ✨

The track began with a chord progression and a melody, something a bit like this. Here’s a full stripped back version from @jabani_pj and myself. Enjoy 💜 taken in Bristol, United Kingdom by @pmgrecordsuk

LEX EDUCATION E.P OUT NOW!

My friend @keyfromsp told me that i make music like i love and care about the people that will end up listening to it!

The theme behind this release is embedded in the project title and the topics explored on each track. “Lex Education” comes from the fact that I’m using things that I’ve experienced and lessons I’ve learned from those experiences, translating this into music and putting this out in a way that can hopefully be easily digested which will allow others to learn from the same information. The theme of love is prevalent throughout the project but in its different formats. Crazy speaks about self love and not needing outside things to hold a deep love for myself. Runaway talks about loving others and the similarities in the people that make up the generation you’re growing up in. Just love explores the ups and downs of a relationship and a reminder that even arguments and rough patches can come from misdirected expressions of love. On my way is pure romantic sensual love. Retreat explores how and why both men and women can be guilty of holding back and fully expressing their love due to risk of heartbreak and how and why this heartbreak can come about.

Special thanks to all the creative’s who have contributed to this project!

We asked the room what they want to see change in Bristol’s music scene.

The answer was clear: more diversity, more representation, and more people from our communities in the rooms where decisions are made.

That’s part of why PMG exists.

Our launch was more than a night of live music. It was about creating a space that reflects the talent, culture and community already here.

This is only the beginning.

We have three artists signed, (@lexuspmusic , @guynavian_ , @_addi.p ) and we plan on announcing the fourth artist soon 👀

Start with your community!

Lots of us have big ideas to change the world but feel intimidated by the magnitude of the quest. It becomes less daunting when we remember to start small and build outwards. Look within your own communities and find the opportunities for positive change that you can be a part of implementing. Then we take the proof of concept and expand 😎
