This was one of the hardest and most rewarding weddings that I have ever worked! The heat was a real challenge as we were basically in a Tipi within a walled garden. Don’t get me wrong I love working at Scrivelsby Walled Garden but when it’s that hot – wow it was tough! Luckily I had the most amazing and fun couple to photograph. This wedding was SERIOUSLY FUN! I laughed a lot and I sweated a lot, but I would not have changed anything. This time I got to photograph the beautiful Kara & the rather dashing James. Two fantastic people who were up for anything. They certainly knew how to party! The dance floor was crazy good! Also well done James for suggesting a beer run. I would just like to say I have never seen a bride so keen to run around in her dress. Yes RUN!!! Utter bonkers, but great to capture. A HUGE thank you to Emma and all the staff at Scrivelsby Walled Garden for all your help and for being so organised. Its always a pleasure to work with you guys and I look forward to returning again. A big shout out also to some of the other suppliers who helped play their part on the day. And just like buses I haven’t been to Kelham Hall all year and then two weddings in a row! This time I got to photograph the lovely Fernie & Chris. Two fantastic human beings who were fantastic to work with. The weather was very much mixed with sunshine & showers but it certainly did not stop us getting outside even if it was a bit fresh. Sadly we didn’t have Carly who was fantastic last week but Lucy was still lovely to work with. I would personally like to say a massive thank you to everyone who attended this wedding - you all made it a fantastic day. What a lovely couple to photograph. It was a beautiful sunny day and the temperature was perfect for a wedding. It was also nice to return to Kelham Hall for the first time in 2026. Hannah looked stunning in her dress from @belleandbouqetbridalboutqiue which simply made Daniel beam with the biggest smile when he first saw her walking down the aisle. A huge thank you to Carly and all the staff for being so helpful on the day. I particularly liked the buggy ride around the grounds for the couple portrait shoot. In addition I would also like to thank some of the other very talented suppliers who helped play their part on the day. It has been a little while since I last worked at Hodstock Priory but what a wedding to return with. So we had mixed weather of sunshine and showers but luckily, we still got to have an outside ceremony. I would personally like to say a massive thank you to everyone who attended this wedding. So if it rains then just embrace it!!! That’s what these guys did and they ended up having an amazing day against all the odds! If I had to describe this wedding well it would have to be ‘wild and very wet!’ Man did it rain but you know what total credit to everyone who attended this just had a wild party and still had fun on the inflatable games in the pouring rain. Even my amazing bride didn’t care and went and dived on the soaking wet inflatables in her dress. This time I got to photograph the beautiful Georgina & Gareth. Two utterly bonkers people who are totally on the same page! They were married at the Usher Art Gallery in Lincoln and then celebrated at their own styled marquee. I would personally like to say a massive thank you to everyone who attended this wedding. You all made it a fantastic day. A special mention too to @lincsbounce, kel.m.c83 & @freckleface for your brilliant services. So finally to my amazing couple, Gareth & Georgina thank you for making me super welcome and for being such great fun. It was so lovely to be back at Washingborough Hall for a summer wedding with bearable heat. Lucy, Jordan and the team were fantastic as always! I mean what a wedding this was! They were a really fun bunch to photograph. I have to say, Maisie looked incredible and Steven who doesn’t like having his photo taken actually enjoyed it. How have I never worked at Baumber Walled Garden before? What a stunning venue and what a first wedding to have there! This was such a lovely wedding with some of the nicest people I have ever met. The day started with a very nice gift and card from the bride. Honestly, I was blown away by the thought of it and the extremely kind words. The outside ceremony was baked in hot sunshine and then for one of the best surprises was having the rings being delivered by alpacas. Everyone loved it! have to say in 21 years of capturing weddings I have never seen such a brilliant first dance & father/daughter dance routines. Utterly brilliant and hilarious! Emily looked amazing which brought tears to her dad when he saw her for the first time. Luke was very dashing with his top hat and of course I had to ensure he got some serious photos that he requested. I would like to give a special mention to Grace and all the staff at Baumber Walled Garden for being so helpful and amazing to work with. I really do hope I get to work with you all again. In addition a big shout out also has to go to the other talented suppliers who helped play their part on the day. MUA: @rachelbraymakeupartistry (it’s always great working with you Rach!) This was a beautiful, manic and serious fun wedding to photograph! It was literally non-stop from the start to finish! We had everything, surprise singing waiters, a fantastic magician in John Morton, a rodeo bull, garden games, ice cream bike, a tractor and one of the most amazing, trained dog I have ever seen! Vicki & Phil were married at Church of Saint Andrew in Ewerby and then celebrated within the grounds of Vicki’s parents. Huge respect goes out to them both and their friends & family for the way in which they arranged everything as the festival vibe setup was perfect. I would also like to thank some of the other very talented suppliers who helped play their part on the day.
