Looking to start your print-and-play journey without spending a dime? 👀

Here are 5 FREE PnPs that I think make a pretty damn good starting point!

Different themes, different mechanics, with zero to moderate assembly. Having lost count on how many times I played these gems, I'd totally recommend them to someone dipping their toes into PnPs.

And this is only Part 1! Got many more free games to share with you folks.

I’ve also written full blogs on every game featured here, so if any of them catch your eye, head over to pnptime.com and dig deeper! Link in bio.

Now, tell me: what’s YOUR favorite free PnP?

2025 has been a launching pad for PnP Time!

From playing tons of new print-and-play games and being part of numerous campaigns, to interviewing game designers, building a lovely Facebook community, and sharing the PNP world through blogs and newsletters, this year has been massive.

2026 is already shaping up to be even bigger. I can’t wait to unravel what’s next for you all.

Happy New Year! 🎉

Take a walk down the memory lane on my 40th issue of newsletter, link in Bio.

The best part about print-and-play games? How damn low the entry barrier is for players!

There’s so much you can try before spending anything at all.

Here are 5 more FREE PnPs that I think make a pretty good starting point! And these are quite a mix: a card-layering puzzle, a dice-allocation dungeon game, a cozy roll-and-write, a maze-builder, and an escape-room mystery.

Now, tell me: what’s YOUR favorite free PnP?

Drop it in the comments! 👇

What happens when poker hands meet monsters in a battle of numbers?

After countless dice rolls and fighting my way through tons of monsters, I finally emerged with a verdict on Roll Breakers: First Quest! 🎲⚔️

My review of Alexz Martinez's solo roll-and-write is now LIVE on PnP Time's website, link in Bio [Latest games you DARE not miss!]

Also, the Kickstarter campaign for Roll Breakers is ON FIRE, so it's a pretty good time to check out the game!

It's my favorite time of the year 🎃

Happy Halloween, folks! Show of hands, who's as stoked about the spooky night as I am?!

My 153rd newsletter issue is all about how I've spent (well, still on it!) the month celebrating Halloween with spooky games, books, movies, and series!

Oh, and there's a little something extra at the end. An eerie incident from my own life that I still can't quite explain. 👻

A black-and-white Print Day! 🖤🤍

And it features my 4th Dynamic PnP, courtesy of Pagepunk. It's called 'Tower.exe'

Just like its name, the game has this retro look that I'm totally vibing with!

Get to know Tower.exe and how I printed it out in my 152nd newsletter issue, link in Bio [Fresh games worth printing]

8 interviews. 8 brilliant minds behind the games we play! 🎲

Over time, I've had the pleasure of interviewing some amazing game designers, getting to know their personal journeys, what inspires them, their experiences in game design, and what makes them tick.

Here's a little look back at all eight interviews featured in Minds Behind Games. If you haven't checked them out yet, find the link in Bio [Minds behind games]

More interviews coming soon! ⏳

Folks, kindly check your email! 📬

PnP Time has officially moved from Beehiiv to Substack.

As for why… I’ll save that story for another time. It’s a long and pretty disappointing one.

If you were already subscribed to the newsletter, please check your inbox for the first email sent through Substack. Since it’s coming from a new platform, there’s a chance it might’ve landed in your spam or Promotions folder, so give those a quick look and move it to your Primary inbox!

And if you haven’t subscribed before, this might be the perfect time. ❤️

PnP Time is my forever-free newsletter where I share all my print-and-play endeavors. Be it the Print Days, Behind the Scenes stories with designers, game mechanics analysis, hidden gems and basically anything else from this wonderfully creative corner of gaming.

Would genuinely love to have you there!

Hold up... dungeon crawling on a BOOKMARK?!

Never thought I'd get to experience two of my favorite things (reading and playing) together, but thanks to Matteo of Two Mad Racoons, that box just got ticked!

Get to know my experience with Segnavventura: The Tomb of the Living Shadows as I played it with my current read (Goosebumps!) in my 151st newsletter issue, link in Bio [Get fresh PnP gems in your inbox]

Poker hands x dice value manipulation x mathematical battles! 🎲⚔️

Been having a blast playing Roll Breakers: First Quest, a solo roll-and-write by Alexz Martinez of RAWR! Games. While I'll share my take in a blog set to drop soon, all I can say is that it's one catchy, catchy game!

Watch this little teaser I created to get an idea of how things roll. No pun intended!

Btw, the Kickstarter campaign for Roll Breakers just went LIVE! Check it out if it's your cup of tea.

What happens when you spend 200 hours playing Balatro and can't find a tabletop game that scratches the same itch? 🎲

Well, Alexz Martinez decided to create one himself!

And that's how Roll Breakers came to be. A solo roll-and-write inspired by Balatro, but with its own mechanics, characters, and plenty of dice-rolling action.

In my 16th Behind the Scenes issue, Alexz shares the journey behind creating Roll Breakers, the challenges he faced, and what went into bringing his dream game to life!

Swipe through for a few glimpses into Alexz's journey with Roll Breakers!
