For the past few weeks, my team and I have been quietly working behind the scenes, reimagining this space with even more heart, intention, and creativity. And I couldn’t be more excited to finally share it with you!

When I entered the Top Host competition with @ryanseacrest @iheartradio …I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I just knew I had to follow my heart.

Funny enough, HEART was the word I chose for 2026. Coincidence? I think not. For those who know me, you know I’ve always believed in the power of storytelling, human connection, and spreading a little sunshine. Through Pocketful of Daisy, my dream has always been to inspire people to see life on the bright side.

Last Sunday, I talked about entering a new season of harvest, abundance, and reaping what we’ve sown. Well, here I am, chasing a dream of my own by entering contest to be the next Top Host with @ryanseacrest on @iheartradio !!!And today, I’m showing up with a heart FULL of gratitude. Apparently my ovaries knew my kids were going to college… so I got a puppy.
🐾
I found it quite interesting that actually a handful of my empty nester friends suddenly have new four-legged babies too.
🐾
I’m calling this stage of life
MENA-PAWS. 😂
🐾
The calling came without the warning, however, perfect timing because a puppy keeps you busy, gets you outside, makes you laugh and fills a little bit of that emptiness. So I now clearly understand the whole emotional support animal thing. Sometimes emotional support comes with four paws, puppy breath and a destroyed Manolo Blanik. 😂

So I need to know… whose ovaries also sent them a message to add a puppy when their kids went to college? Share your puppy tales with us …
