Meet the bookstagrammer✨

Hi! My name is Katherina (think lots of phlegm for the pronunciation) but I go by Kat or Katie. I joined the booksta community last year and love it🖤

I am a photographer, specializing in family, couples and portrait photography 📸

I have a thousand stories in my head and always have. One of my nicknames as a child was Stephanie King because of the creepy stories I would write 📝

I know the lyrics to most Disney songs. I love Studio Ghibli. Animated films make me happy. I adore music and dance 💕

I’m sensitive and have always had a deep love for the environment and all animals (scales, buggies, plants included) 🌳

I am currently reading 6 different books because I am, in fact, chaotic 💅

Canadian. I am a Leo. INFJ. Home is with my sweet fiancé and 2 kitties. I am an introvert but am very social if I’m in the mood. I love film. Enjoy travel. I’m a Halloween girlie. Love Christmas too. My favourite season is autumn, but I truthfully love all four seasons. Heartstopper changed my life. I can lick my own elbows lol 🦁

I’m 5’1” and I used to model. It bothered me that I was told that because of my height that I couldn’t do something I wanted to do, so I did it anyways ✨

I’m neurodivergent. I was diagnosed with ADHD, amongst a few other things that made learning challenging, as a child. I also had a lot of health scares and issues growing up. School was tough and not the most enjoyable experience for me. I wasn’t a fan of reading until Harry Potter, and I still love the series to this day. (She Who Must Not Be Named and her vitriol can in fact get bent though.) Reading HP was an emotional experience, I was so easily distracted as a child and when I was put on meds and read one of the HP books, I could finally focus. I bawled. Changed my life☁️

My favourite book genre is fantasy/romantasy. Throne of Glass is my favourite series. I also love fiction, mystery/horror and contemporary romance (if I’m in the mood!) As someone who had to learn to deal with some dark past traumas, I do believe self-help books can in fact, help. But also, therapy 📚

All are welcome here. No bullies or prejudices allowed 🌸
Do we have anything in common?🌻 by @pocketsizedkatt

Autumn is the best time of the year because it’s cozy, it’s pretty, it’s spooky, it’s whimsical, and also the fashion expression is at its peak 🙌🖤 Swipe through for some of my favourite closet pieces for this season 🍂 my favourite places to find items that speak to me have been @vixen_by_micheline_pitt @la_femme_en_noir_ @uniquevintage @modcloth @etsy @kjp @princesshighwayclothing @americaneagle @abercrombie @chicwish @hottopic @funcostumes (but also keep in mind, I still wear the same items year after year after year because I don’t believe in buying something to wear one time and then tossing it away 😉)

Some of my favourite places in the autumn season that I’ve experienced 🥹🍂 I still need to visit Scotland + other parts of Canada, and obviously some other iconic locations to be able to add to this ever growing list 🖤 But my goodness, I love this season 🍁

Where do you want to visit during the fall??💭

#autumnlover #autumntravels🍂🍁 #canadabookstagram #travellover #spookyseason bookish my everyday magic whimsy Halloween life autumn fall magic explore Ontario Salem Massachusetts Vermont Elora Stratford Kyoto Japan Nara sleepy hollow fear farm haunted overload

Does this really need an explanation?🌙

My favourite small town to visit every October…it’s well loved for a reason ✨

We will be returning to Japan in the autumn in the future and Kyoto is a place we plan to explore more of 🏯

Pure autumn perfection + windy roads 🖤

The city I live in…it’s literally so stinking cute ✨

Pure magic. 100% will visit Miyajima Island and Hiroshima again 🍡

Some say…it’s legendary 👀

An autumn lovers dream…absolute perfection 🍂

One of my favourite experiences ever and we didn’t go explore more of it because I was distracted by the cuteness 🦌

The most picturesque small town in New England IMO 🍂

The views are * STUNNING * 🍁

There’s a magic to Tokyo 🗼

Go for the food. Stay for the views 🖤

My hometown must be included…it has a lot of beautiful autumnal trails I still go and visit 🥹

Every place in Japan was it’s own vibe 🙌

It’s recommended for a reason 🌳

BEST haunt we’ve been to 👻

This was fun both during the daytime and the night time….but I didn’t get scared 🎃 by @pocketsizedkatt

What are you reading next?? ✨ Highly suspecting that I’ll be throwing 5 star confetti all over the place for this book because why has it taken up residence in my mind ever since I heard about it even though I have yet to read it?? It’s a sign 🙂‍↔️🖤🪽
