We need to talk about guidance, and how isolating it can be without it.

Both my world and dentistry are very similar in those aspects, and meeting with my mentor @den_lennie for 2 days last week really helped me out and helped me figure out a plan for the next few months.

As dentists, you have to give yourself the opportunity to grow, to relieve you of the stresses that come with dentistry, and get yourself someone who can guide you.

Two days in a room with working A/C in Covent Garden, while half the city melts...sorry.

@den_lennie ‘s workshop was about AI, but not for the reason you'd expect. Not because it's the future, not because everyone's talking about it. Better systems just mean better strategy.

Most of a video project lives or dies before a camera comes out. Knowing what patients actually needs to hear, where the story starts, what the explainer has to do that a treatment list can't. That thinking takes time, and time is usually the first thing admin eats.

So when the processes are tighter, that time goes back where it matters...the strategy, the pre-production, the edits that make something land.

AI isn't replacing any of that. It's clearing space, so the focus can go to the clients who are the right fit and who'll get the most out of what we do.

Stronger foundations, stronger work. That's the whole reason for being in the room.

Split strategies. Not something you might have thought of, but something you might want to seriously consider!
