On November 19th, we celebrated the grand opening of our new office and content studio at 550 Broad Street in Downtown Newark. A huge thank you to everyone who showed up, sent love, and supported us.

Big shoutout to our host, @missfreemarie from BET’s 106 & Park, and to @transformthehustle for making it all come together. Also, a special thanks to our panel of creative leaders who inspired us with their insights and stories, @3rdgeers @enjoypatrickresponsibly & @bridget.espo4.

It’s been 5 incredible years building this company, and we wouldn’t be here without the support of so many amazing people—investors, clients, partners, our team, contributors, friends, family, allies, and supporters around the world. A huge thank you to everyone who has stood by us to help ensure we become the world’s largest and most inclusive content company.

We’re just getting started, and the best is yet to come. Let's GO!

Tip “T.I.” Harris @tip has backed @pocstock financially and has the Atlanta mogul in the world of technology and digital equity.

The Atlanta vet is backing a company focused on providing rights-cleared and culturally informed content to brands and technology companies while giving creators greater control over how their work is used.

Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed. T.I.’s involvement with pocstock is limited to his role as an investor.

The move puts Tip into a rapidly developing conversation surrounding who owns the material used to train and develop artificial intelligence systems and whether the creators behind that material receive compensation or control.❗️ by @pocstock

As @pocstock grows, our mission stays the same: put culture and creators at the center of everything we do.

We’re proud to welcome Tip “T.I.” Harris as an investor in pocstock and a supporter of our work to bring more authentic culture and representation into every form of media.

“Authenticity cannot be faked, and our stories cannot be told properly without us in the driver’s seat.” — Tip “T.I.” Harris

His support strengthens our commitment to creating more opportunity, ownership and value for creators and communities of color across media, technology and AI.

Give me five minutes with someone and I’m not looking to change who they are. I’m looking for the version of them that already feels true.

NEWARK showed up. 🔴

A few minutes. A camera. A lot of personality.

These are some of the people who stepped in front of my lens during @pocstock’s Newark Photography Day — and every person brought something completely different to the frame.

This is just a quick preview. I’ll be dropping the portraits later today. 👀

Which one caught your attention first?
And if you recognize somebody, tag them below.

Thank you Ernish, @missfreemarie, and @vablackchamber team for having me join this conversation.

One of the many things @lammanruckerofficial, Shawn Gregoire and our moderator @chuckcreekmur had in common was the sense that our purpose was to be in service of others.

Grateful 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
