Each project begins with a careful study of materials, textures, and spatial atmosphere.
Our goal is to create an environment that aligns with the client’s lifestyle and expresses their individuality.

Design is not only about aesthetics - it is about creating spaces that feel right.

Kitchen as the heart of the home.

In this project, the kitchen was designed to balance functionality and material clarity. Warm wood tones, natural stone, and restrained detailing create a space that feels calm yet grounded.

The goal was to establish continuity with the rest of the interior while keeping the kitchen practical for everyday life.

Good design in a kitchen is not only about aesthetics — it is about proportion, circulation, and the relationship between materials.

Focus on Finishes — Wood, Part 1

Not all wood creates the same atmosphere.

Each species carries its own tone, grain pattern, and visual weight — influencing how a space feels and how materials interact with light.

In this reel we explore six woods often used in interior design:

• Wenge — deep contrast and linear grain
• Oak — warm and timeless
• Bird’s-eye Maple — distinctive textured pattern
• Ebony — bold and dramatic
• Burnt Wood — rich charred texture
• Elm — organic flowing grain

Material selection is one of the most powerful tools in creating a cohesive interior.

A foyer is not an afterthought.
It is the architectural introduction to the home.

In this Canadian residence, we established structure through a marble grid pattern underfoot, framed openings, and exposed beam rhythm — balancing warmth with discipline.

The console detail and curved mirror soften the geometry, allowing the space to feel welcoming without losing clarity.

Design should guide movement, define hierarchy, and create cohesion from the very first view.

Modern house. Elevated. Intentional.

After a decade of design practice in Europe, PODYKH DESIGN begins a new chapter in Toronto.

We create modern residential interiors defined by proportion, light, and thoughtful restraint.
Our approach is measured and architectural - designing not only how a space looks, but how it feels to inhabit.

Every line has purpose.
Every detail carries weight.
