On Saturday, I was reminded again of our deep human need for connection.

The atmosphere was so calm, gentle, and almost surreal.

Strangers became listeners, listeners became voices and voices became a community.

Thank you to everyone who attended the first edition of Lines & Minds with Mo.

Thank you for showing up honestly.
Thank you for sharing your stories.
Thank you for holding space for one another.

Your presence, your openness, and willingness to connect made this gathering truly special.

A little bit of deep talk, reading letters, and snacking on gist.

Our hangout wasn’t just one thing; it was everything timely.
We went from existential crises to laughing like the moment is all we’ve got. ☺
There’s nothing as wholesome as a room full of people willing to go into deep discussion and have fun doing it.
Thank you to everyone who brought their truest selves to the table. 🌹

I was about 17 when I witnessed the aftermath of my neighbour's suicide.

I didn't understand it then, but years later, I still think about the questions that day left me with.

What was he carrying that we couldn't see? What conversation never happened? What pain remained unspoken?

I've come to understand that quietness is not the absence of burden or pain.

Today, let's be more intentional about checking on one another.
Look beyond “I'm fine.” Listen without judgment. Make it safer for people to say, “I'm not okay.”

We may not be able to save everyone, but we can encourage people to seek help and remind them that they don't have to face everything alone.
