Dessert doesn’t feel.

Hello loves,

I’m going to overshare. Feel free to ignore jaja the title of this poem was “Cake: Angry Version,” silly, I know. It was my way of processing that someone in my life, that I hold dear, might not value our friendship, as I did. And I was angry, of course. But as I reread it and made some edits, I discovered there’s no anger here, only sadness as I realize that someone whom I love deeply, might not remain in my life in the way I wanted them to be.

So here it is, another piece of my soul. Treat her gently 🤍

Grief is such an odd thing, isn’t? You can be happy and still hurt at the same time. The human mind is so complex 🖤 I’ve poured my heart and soul to you all in an attempt to capture the tug and pull of the human mind.
