Mountains, snow and poetry

Recipe for a good day

Grateful for shared experiences

And meaning making by @poetskis

I think this is one of my favorite photos from this year's Wallowa trip, @benkitchingphotography is always making us look magic out there. It feels surreal sitting out here in 50 degree sun in Colorado looking up at the barely covered mountains I'll be climbing and riding the next 8 days of my ski guide course , remembering the 5 days of pow I have ridden this season and feeling like winter is still ahead of us when we are halfway through March.
We might get a late dump this year, I hope we do, I hope that I get more pow days this season...but if we don't, I am so grateful for this day and every day I spend with the people I love. by @poetskis

🚨Big Announcement!!🚨

Is there anything better than new skis!? ✨⛷️✨
AND they're made locally in the Comox Valley!?
Say less.

Thank you so much @poetskis for the greatest gift of the season!

The Epic's are truly epic on all levels. Whether I'm floating through powder or blasting the chunder, these skis are going to be magic. I can already feel it. Plus, they're just so beautiful! Shout out to our local artist @donecreative 😍

Let's just say I'm hungry for a taste! 😋

Finally rolling out photos from our annual Wallowa trip 🖤 it has been a really hard couple of weeks, and sharing photos when myself and the community and, fuck, the whole damn world is experiencing loss and grief feels discordant.
I sometimes feels weirdly guilty for feeling joy in the midst of pain, but it's both coexisting that brings healing. The mountains bring me joy, and snowboarding brings me joy, so I'll keep going out. What is important is to acknowledge both: the sadness and the joy, the pain and the serenity. It's a fine line between using these things to mask the hurt versus using them to intertwine with the hurt and bring you back to wholeness. I'm eternally grateful for the ability and the privilege to continue to experience these moments of joy and to continue to pursue happiness in the midst of grief. by @poetskis

When it's a blind drop and all your friends *swear* it's a good landing, but it turns out it's a big old case of fatty to flatty 😂

Hurt my back just in time for the biggest storm of the season, AND our trip to @tamarackresort and @brundagemtn that I have been stoked on for weeks 😅

I've dealt with my share of big injuries before, that came generally from doing something dumb or sending it too big...but I haven't really dealt with this. A phantom "injury" that happened just from bending down to pick up a glove while I had a heavy pack on. I take pretty good care of my body all things considered, and am regularly working on taking even better care of it. So, to have done something as silly as throw out my back when I'm young, active and in good shape feels crazy and to be honest, kind of embarrassing. I'm really grateful to @connornicole for getting me in for a last minute massage and to my incredible acupuncturist Mark at Bend Community Healing for getting me back to a point I could at least ride on this trip, but feeling really disappointed by how much I had to dial it back when the conditions and terrain were SO GOOD. Also reflecting a lot on my decisions to even push it as much as I did, when I woke up yesterday unable to get out of bed again after this.

Anyways, huge thank you to @brundagemtn and @brundagemountainpatrol for working hard and opening up ALL their terrain after this storm. It was incredible to explore, even if I couldn't ride it the way I wanted to. And thank you to @eric.serbousek for getting clips for me and being my favorite riding partner on the planet. We had such an amazing time still and it was so fun to finally get to ride my @poetskis Haiku in bigger terrain and real powder.

Lots of love to my community as always 🖤enjoy my audio at the end if you watch the whole reel, and if anyone has any magic solutions for chronic S.I. problems PLEASE help ya girl out by @poetskis

A couple of my favorites from the last shoot with @justinewingphotography
We've been making the best of this shoddy season and still having a ton of fun 🥰

The moment just before dropping in, there is a pause, a stillness that humbles us as the mountains unfold in every direction. In that silence, we feel both small and completely connected to the wind, the ridge lines, and everyone who’s ever stood in awe of this same view.

What an amazing day in the Crystal Mountain backcountry. Thank you @trewgear and @graybirdguiding for such an amazing trip. The snow was all time and the company was top notch, so grateful that @eric.serbousek got to join on this one! I'm absolutely in love with my Primo kit this season from Trew and obsessed with my @poetskis splitboard, it's genuinely the best board I have ever ridden.

Ringing in the New Year with nothing but gratitude!

Cheers to 2026 and the all fresh lines it opens as the sun rises on what comes next. We step forward as makers, artists, and mountain mystics carrying our values of community, creativity, flow, connection, adventure, authenticity, freedom, and sustainability.

The next 365 days are ours to seek stoke and carve stories into the mountain. Here is to open tracks open hearts and the poetry waiting to unfold!

Feeling really grateful to have kicked off my season with this incredible pillow line on an unreal pow day @alpine_lakes_high_camp

This was mt first day in my @trewgear Primo kit and first day on my new @poetskis splitboard. It was also my first day out with my @folkrm.mtn Tahoma poles, new/larger @pingoragear pack, @stio PeakWool baselayers, new performance underwear from @paradis.sport and new heated @sidas_usa @thermic_usa socks, and I must say that I am thrilled with the performance of ALL of my gear this season.

Here's to an amazing season ahead of us and the continued support of all these amazing companies behind the gear and the services keeping my gear running smooth (looking at you @powder_house
🖤) who have continued to believe in me and my dreams.

Thank you @marco_scheuer_ /@zach_vonschneidau for the photos! by @poetskis
