New PB from earlier this year. Fished almost everyday for two weeks straight to finally get this one.

Old PB was 8.3 or 8lbs ~4oz for two years.

This one was 8lbs 12oz on the bubba lite scale, 9.2lbs when weighed by the lake rangers

Whichever one was accurate, I don’t really care.

My ultimate goal was to beat my PB in the small amount of time I had to fish effectively and consistently.

Even if it’s by less than a pound, achieving that goal was more than enough for me. by @pogiphish

It’s been a tough getting out consistently lately, but i’m starting to get back in the groove of things. I at least got to break in the new setup.

Took a week off for my birthday a few weeks ago, and was able to scrape up a few during the end of the shad spawn. by @pogiphish

Finally got one to commit to the Tyrant 8. Also broke in the new leviathan Simple Faith rod on its first outing. Had so many disgusting blowups today, but couldn’t get anything to connect. This one actually bit 3 times at different times in the day, but stayed in relatively the same spot. I would miss it, come back an hour or two later, and repeat. And for this one, 3rd time was the charm. 4.39lbs.

Got a good one on the TK, first ever crawler fish, and got on a stupid bite with the big worm. Good day. by @pogiphish

Shad spawn pretty much in full affect for my lake. The fish didn’t touch anything over 6 inches, so the big baits got no love. Got one on the citizen 6, and the biggest one of the day pitching a pickle kicker on a warbaits head DEEP in the tullies. Lost a bunch today. by @pogiphish

Had to grind through the rain and hail today, but ended up with two decent ones on the Tyrant and Nate’s. RIP to the Tyrant, which I lost shortly after catching the first one lol. by @pogiphish
