Now for the story behind REMEMBER ME…

A year ago, I released a collection that holds more meaning than I could ever fit into a piece of clothing.

فَاذْكُرُونِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ
“Remember Me; I will remember you.” (2:152)

This collection was inspired by my grandmother, Mommy Wahida, Allah yerhamha. She taught me what remembrance looks like, and her handwriting lives on the left sleeve and inside tag. Words she once wrote, now carried by people she’s never met. A little piece of her gets to live on through something I created.

But REMEMBER ME was never about remembering a person. It’s about remembering Allah.

Every detail was intentional. From the original hand-painted calligraphy to the four colors representing sand, soil, water, and grass. All reminders to stay rooted in faith.

A year later, seeing something that started so close to my heart become part of your lives and memories is so beautiful.

Thank you for being here and making this community what it is❤️‍🔥

The LAST ORIGINAL Remember Me painting just sold, days before the collection turns one. Never gets easier parting with an original, but that’s the beauty of sharing my art🥹

Everyone sees the finished product, but not everything that goes into it. The overthinking, creative blocks, frustration, and uncertainty of running your own business. I love what I do, but that doesn’t mean it’s always easy. Not every day is perfect, and that’s part of the process too.
