Hi! Just a wannabe photographer from Northern Germany, capturing the beauty in everyday life.

I’d describe my photography as vibrant photojournalism — a way of documenting fleeting moments, unique atmospheres and the little details that often go unnoticed. From quiet streets at home to distant places around the world, I’m interested in the stories hiding in ordinary moments.

I photograph with a Leica Q2 and a Sony A6700, depending on where the mood takes me.

No grand plan. Just a camera, a curious eye and a constant urge to look for something worth capturing.

I spent some time at the harbor in Burg on Fehmarn, where small boats, fishing nets and the quiet waterfront created a simple, timeless atmosphere. The sky was cloudy, with a little rain in the air, giving everything a soft and moody feel. A perfect moment to take the Q2 out and capture the details.

I spent some time at the classic car meet in Burg on Fehmarn, surrounded by beautifully restored and carefully maintained cars. Every one of them seemed to tell its own story — a little piece of the past that invites you to take a step back in time. Of course, my Leica Q2 came along to capture the details, shapes and character of these timeless classics.

I spent the night wandering through Manhattan, from Times Square all the way to Central Park. The city was alive with colorful lights, busy streets and people everywhere. A walk through the heart of New York, surrounded by the energy and endless movement of the city.

I spent some time in Washington, D.C., walking from the Capitol to the Lincoln Memorial. Along the way, I took in the city’s landmarks, wide avenues and historic atmosphere. It was a simple walk, but a great way to experience the heart of the city.

I spent some time on the tiny island of Neuwerk (nationalpark), which belongs to Hamburg and can be reached either by ferry or by walking across the Wadden Sea. It really is a small and peaceful place, surrounded by the sea, dikes, horses and cows. I especially enjoyed the warm light, the wide landscape and, above all, the feeling of quiet and stillness. My camera was always with me, capturing little moments along the way.
