Happy National Southern Food Day! We are celebrating today with a ✨giveaway✨ and some delicious takeout from the new @tupelohoneycafe in Station Square! We loved their perfectly spiced fried chicken, country style fried chicken and waffles, sweet and spicy chicken sando, and creole shrimp linguine. Their new space in Station Square is beautiful and we can’t wait to get chicken and waffles more often for brunch!

Ok so we trekked 20 mins to @oakhillpgh in the snow and waited in line for a bit, but it did not disappoint! This place is poppin’ for a reason. Their sandwiches are so freaking good and their biscuits might be the best biscuits we ever had! We especially love the fried egg that makes this a hot delicious mess because runny eggs are ❤️ Definitely go for a breakfast sandwich or the breakfast smash. One of my favorite spots all year round is back with a fall special at their Phantom Fall Fest! @kennywoodpark has a new Fall Fest Tasting Experience that’s running every Saturday and Sunday from now until Nov 1st from 12-6PM. They’re serving up some fun fall foods and drinks! Kennywood is the perfect fall activity from the rides and games and food during the day to the spooky scares and haunted houses at night. Go check them out!

If you’re looking for a fun, Halloween pop-up bar around town, the best one you’ll find with an incredible menu of drinks is the Spookeasy at the @omniwilliampennhotel

These drinks are all handcrafted with house made ingredients and are so creative! We tried all of them and honestly loved them all, but the standouts were the Witching Hour and the Devil’s Due! The Witching Hour is a spiced orange cider with Hennessy and the Devil’s Due is basically a margarita with a red wine float.

Check them out downtown, they open this weekend!

Checked out Sip & Soirée at the Biergarten rooftop on top of the @monacopgh in downtown Pittsburgh and loved it! You get to make your own charcuterie board, a bottle of wine, passed hor d’oeuvres and desserts. It’s the perfect Sunday night and you get such a unique view of the city at sunset. The last couple of weeks of doing fall things around town!

1. The Fall Sip & Soirée at the Biergarten rooftop on top of the Kimpton downtown is so cute!! Loved the picnic vibes, live music, spiked apple cider, wine and charcuterie, and the desserts! They pass around hor d’oeuvres and the beef wellie was amazing. Plus the view of downtown and the sky at sunset was 👌
2. Brunch at @wisecountybiscuits and bopping around the North Side!
3. Kennywood’s Fall Fest is a fall classic!!! We love that they have a new fall fest menu with delicious fall themed foods!! Plus all the spooky stuff at night is always a blast!! @kennywoodpark is a fall classic for me!
3. Got my first Russian mani at @illustratedpgh and I’m obsessed
4. My first Waffalonia in a very long time and it was lovely for my soul
5. Weekly @mola.pgh for my sanity
6. Haven’t had @spakbrothers in a while so I had to fix that
7. Also got some drinks at @twofraysbrewery

I also saw Resident Evil at @manortheatre and checked out @squirrelcagepgh which was such good vibes. It’s been a pretty jam packed but low key week. taken in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by @pointstatefork

This past week was pure chaos. From work things to weddings to spinning on coasters to seeing family to seeing friends. It’s been a time! We also won karaoke at @jackworthgingerbeer last Friday so that was 💯

1. Nickelodeon universe was fun!!!
2. Always sit on the C side flying back to PGH from NYC
3. Yaya tea vegan rice balls are the goat
4. Realized San Gennaro Fest is another big Italian festival??? I’ve walked past here my entire life but it never registered to me as a giant food fest
5. Vegan mint at Van Leeuwen is supreme. Matcha was good too
6. Got brunch with one of my best friends
7. Pho back home hits different, it’s very cinnamony but I like it because it tastes homemade and Peter liked it I think
8. NY bagels are ❤️
9. Got a very fancy dinner at Maison Passerelle with my coworkers
10. Warren Peace was a great bar in FiDi
11. Brunch reunited
12. Tapas with my fam
13. Birthday flowers
14. A lovely wedding last weekend
15. Amazing short rib ravioli and salmon at Casbah on my very low key day of birth

Fall is all about the festive drinks and @okanesweetspot is hosting a fall matcha recipe contest!

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
🍵 Come up with your ultimate fall matcha using your favorite fall flavors. Your drink can include up to 3 ingredients outside of matcha itself. Think flavorings, cold foam, toppings, or fun additions like pumpkin syrup or marshmallows.
🍵Give your creation a fun name.
🍵Submit your recipe between 9/8 - 9/20, 2026 through the link in @okanesweetspot ‘s bio or here: https://forms.gle/PANXroEvjAcPfFtv7 . Make sure to include your first and last name and follow their page to qualify.
🍵 The top 5 recipes will be selected to move on to the final round.
🍵From 9/21 - 10/12, everyone can stop by Okane Sweet Spot between 11am - 5pm to sample the finalist drinks and cast your vote by ballot.

Love that moment of silence when everyone agrees the food is goood

Checked out a new pizza spot in Pittsburgh and as a New Yorker, it surely does hit the spot! @eatpaps in Bloomfield is poppin’ and serving up pizza with a 48 hr fermented dough. It kind of feels like the last weekend of summer 🥲 it was a nice one though.
