POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This piece means the world to me - a hand-drawn sketch from my all-time favourite illustrator, Kagemaru Himeno, on the iconic Natta Wake Birthday Pikachu, and signed on her Birthday!

And somehow… it graded PSA 10 / AUTO 10!
A dream turned into reality 💛
Thank you @conceptgrading for making this happen!

No. 151, before anyone knew it was real.

1996 Bandai Carddass Prism Mew, the first Mew card ever released. Height unknown. Weight unknown. Moves unknown. Bandai printed it that way because, in 1996, Mew was still a secret.

Before the TCG, there was Carddass.

1996 Bandai Carddass Prism Blastoise, No. 009. The first Blastoise card ever released, sold in Japanese vending machines a month ahead of Base Set. Ken Sugimori artwork on prism foil, graded PSA 10.

A true rookie, nearly 30 years on.

Cube Mew 🩷

From the 2018 Pokémon Quest Carddass stickers. No idea why these got so expensive now… “Minecraft Mew”? 😂 Still love how the blocky style makes Mew look even cuter

Dark Mewtwo from Pokkén Tournament

Fun fact: this form was made just for Pokkén. In English it’s called Shadow Mewtwo, but in Japan it’s Dark Mewtwo, which is why the card says it. Love how menacing it looks here, especially with all that purple lightning around it!

Snorlax babysitting duty 😴🥚

One of my fav Carddass artworks, which also came out as a phone card.

The whole gang just looks so happy and wholesome lol
Artwork from Pikachu‘s Rescue Adventure (ピカチュウたんけんたい), the Pikachu short that played before Movie 2!

Ciao PiPiPi phone cards, 1998 and 1999. Saw the Pikachu one and had to get it, Yumi Tsukirino’s style is so random and cute 🥰

2000 One Piece Carddass Visual Adventure Album 1 Booster Case!
Posting something different today
Found this while sorting through the collection. Bought it years back when I was hunting Pokemon carddass boxes, the seller threw it in as part of the deal. Didn’t think much of it at the time.
Turns out it’s one of the rarer One Piece carddass cases you can find sealed. Visual Adventure Album 1, Bandai 2000. Every card is original Oda manga art, pulled straight from his panels and cover pages.
Shrink-wrapped case, 2 sealed boxes inside. Roughly 16-20 prism kira potential across the case if you ever cracked it!

Funny story. I had a couple of binders of Pokemon cards as a kid. A few Charizards in there too. Then a contractor who was furnishing my childhood home walked off with my entire collection (my mtg cards too).

Took me 20+ years but here we are. Got these two Charizards signed and sketched by Arita-sensei.
The art I stared at as a kid, now drawn again by the same hand.
Thanks to @thepracticalsage_ for making this happen ❤️
