Bandhani Coat Rack (2026)

This over-the-door coat rack is inspired by Bandhani, one of the oldest South Asian textile traditions. I wanted to explore how a pattern that’s traditionally worn on the body could be reimagined as something functional for the home. by @pokimannnn

Molten End Table (2026)

My goal for this piece was to make an extremely rigid material feel fluid. A polished aluminum sphere appears to melt into a frame of welded steel rods, creating the illusion that it’s slowly sinking through the structure. The steel frame was intentionally scuffed to contrast with the perfect, reflective finish of the aluminum sphere, allowing each material to highlight the qualities of the other. by @pokimannnn

I’m Sat: A collection of chairs made for interaction (2025)

03. Retouch Bench

The final piece in this collection invites playful interaction through its surface, which is perforated with holes, allowing users to rearrange bead maze components however they like. Inspired by the way toys like bead mazes encouraged spontaneous connection and shared play in childhood, the bench becomes a platform for curiosity and collaboration.

02. Zip It Stool

This stool was made entirely from scrap materials, including leftover wood from an old shelf and a collection of unused zippers. It features functioning zippers along its sides that allow users to customize the pattern, adjust the look, or simply fidget and interact with the piece while sitting.

Manar Sconce (2025)

This light is meant to make serene, contemplative lighting accessible to smaller places of prayer, such as public prayer rooms or commercial spaces that have been turned into mosques. With the sconce fitting into any 90 degree corner, it is able to change the architecture of the room, even when the light is turned off.
