Polaroid Week 2026 : Day 6B
Every year I try to be in NYC on 9/11 to take photos of the 9/11 Memorial Lights. Each year I pick a different spot to photograph. This year I found the parking garage where the two lighting arrays that form the tribute lights are located. All night long people asked me if I thought they could get closer to the lights, but this location is as close as you can get.

Polaroid Week 2026 : Day 6A
This is the first polaroid on a new camera, an Open SX-70 Sonar from Brooklyn Film Camera. I was shocked that the Empire State Building actually showed up.

Polaroid Week 2026 : Day 5B
It seems like you can find a replica version of every major world landmark in Las Vegas, NV on the Strip. This is at the Paris Resort.

Polaroid Week 2026 : Day 5A
I've never been able to capture strong fall leaf colors with Polaroid film. Pointing the camera up into a tree can cause a real exposure dilemma that instant film has difficulty resolving to my satisfaction. This one is the rare exception. I'm very happy with the color intensity and exposure.

This is the lower Manhattan NYC skyline as seen from the Manhattan Bridge over the East River, taken during a 2026 PolaCon NYC PolaWalk.

Polaroid Week 2026 : Day 4A
During the 2026 PolaCon NYC, I walked the Manhattan Bridge in NYC as part of a PolaWalk. I had crossed the East River many times via the Brooklyn Bridge, but had never walked the Manhattan Bridge.

A little retail window reflection for Polaroid Week. I love the way Polaroid film captures neon.

I’m surprised how detailed the video images are on the Las Vegas Sphere exterior surface.

Polaroid Week 2026 : Day 3B
This shot was taken of a display on the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA. I spent the day there attending an analog film festival. The event had some good educational content, but the most fun was walking the ship and taking photos. I shot five boxes of film that day.
