Almost 5 years since my last showreel — which also marked the beginning of my freelance journey — it was about time for a new one

How we made this video? 🙈

This is generally how we used to create a video like the one for Didomi
From moodboard to animation.

I tried to describe as much as I can my process

Aaaah, surfing.

That good-vibes kind of sport, the one that gives you great sensations and moments of connection with others.

But maybe also the most unforgiving sport — it’s not just about your physical performance, it also depends on the weather conditions, the size of the waves, and most importantly, your mental state.

How many times have I felt that little fear of not being able to breathe after a solid set of waves crashed over me?

And yet, I always want to go back. Being in the, forgetting your problems, getting a rush of adrenaline, and soaking up the sun — what a feeling.

Anyway, this wave gave me a hard time designing and animating it, but I hope you’ll like the result.

How I made my last animation ?

Well I tried to describe it as much as I could.

It’s been a lot of time that I didn’t give the time to try, to experiment, so I decided that this year gonna be the year of experimentation for me - You’ll see good stuff and maybe bad stuff, but you’re going to see stuff

Also, I wanted to know if AI gonna replace us in the motion design industrie.. Well you’ll have the answer in the last frame
