Karim e Salim
It was early morning, the beach was empty except for a few sporadic passers-by and these two boys fighting with the waves. At one point, one of the two said “Mamma mia” after a girl had passed by. Attracted by the exclamation, I turned and smiled. They came up to me and, after a chat, offered to be my guides around La Marsa. They had nothing, only their time, which they gave me all morning.

Bucureşti 2024
I remember this moment. It was a particularly blue day, and after walking up and down the city, I sat down for a short break. The pigeons were moving like waves when the sea is rough, and despite the noise of their flapping wings, I found peace for a moment. Then, nothing.
