ولقيت حلمي ببلدي 💌

Two years ago, while contemplating a move abroad, 'Ken Helme' was born. The infamous question of leaving or staying led me to create in Arabic. Wanting to express in my mother tongue stirred something deeper: A relationship with my homeland, where everything I long for resides.

The answer was already within me as I once sang for Beirut, my muse, in 'Beauty on the Horizon'.

With a draft, a recording, a small piece of paper, and an idea, I turned to my dear friends @talaelkadi for lyrics contribution and @khalaframzi for music production.

To complete the picture, I reached out to none other than @eliefahed last December, whose work and passionate love for Beirut I admire, and stars aligned at the right time 💫

I hope you enjoy this as much as we did making it.

You can listen to 'Ken Helme', the third single from my upcoming album, and watch the music video at the link in my bio.

I feel so grateful to be surrounded by wonderful humans, my tribe, who share the same love and longing for our beloved Lebanon, both those mentioned below and those who aren't ❤️

During her MSP03 artistic residency, Pol spent time exploring her sound and developing new ideas around her music.

A Beirut-based singer-songwriter and voice teacher, Pol blends indie and pop influences with vocal harmonies, loops, and layered textures to create dreamy, atmospheric sounds that reflect her honest and personal lyrics.

The residency gave her dedicated time and space to continue working on her full-length album and explore the Arabic language in her songwriting, following the release of her first Arabic single, “Ken Helme.”

Follow Pol to stay updated on her upcoming music, and stay tuned as we continue to share the creative journeys of more MSP03 artists.

'Ken Helme' resonated with many of you when it came out last year.
I’ve always confided in music, letting my songs find their way… hoping they reach whoever needs them.
Today, it carries a different weight.. but home will always be home❤️ taken in Beirut, Lebanon by @poltunes
