We hope everyone is safe and healthy during our nation-wide #lockdown! ⁣
⁣
⁣
Alongside @wildaid, we created this ad to raise awareness for turtles and the impact that turtle products have on the species and their survival. ⁣
⁣
We were responsible for all of the animation and post work.⁣

We once again teamed up with @tulips_and_chimneys and @strangebeasttv to bring these vegetables to life for a full CG Knorr advertisement. ⁣
⁣
⁣@tulips_and_chimneys provided us with concepts, and then we translated those into 3D. ⁣
⁣
⁣
@andredredredre from @feralanimation did the animation for this project. ⁣

We had the pleasure of working on a Zespri® Kiwifruit ad alongside Tulips and Chimneys (@tulips_and_chimneys) and Strange Beast (@strangebeasttv) last year, and we’re so excited to share it with you all! ⁣
⁣
⁣
We created (modeled, textured, rigged, lit and rendered) the CG world and its unique, kiwi themed inhabitants, based off concepts from @tulips_and_chimneys. ⁣
⁣
Animation was done by @andredredredre from @feralanimation.⁣
⁣
⁣
Turn on push notifications or check back again soon to see more of our work from this project!⁣

TheLightTank is a technological display of art created by Polycat Visual Effects. Using our expertise in 3D animation we create a multi-sensory experience by having a giant cube of 25 000 led lights play breathtaking visuals delicately synced with symphonic electronic music.

TheLightTank will be on display at 99 Loop Gallery for the next month. Join us for opening night tonight (5th of June)! #99loop #lighttank #lightshow #capetown #polycatvfx #animation #houdini #maya #vfx #3D #motiongraphics #sidefx #advertising #animated

Thank you to everyone who came to our Houdini demo at the Animation Xchange this week! We hope you found it interesting, and had as much fun as we did.

Unfortunately we did not record the session, but we will look into it for future events.
