There is suffering we choose and suffering we don’t choose.
Golf is both.

Making stuff with all our pals. Golf is an art, so it only feels right to create cool stuff from it.

Some anamorphic bts that is totally not optimal for viewing on IG, but screw it. We just like having a good time.

Slight side step from the usual programming.
The end of the summer brings high school golf season, and for me— a fifth year coaching, with a new team.
Golf is a teacher, for it is always showing us who we are and who we want to be. You can’t grow unless set goals, and you can’t truly appreciate winning unless you know the feeling of losing.

The temptation to let both good and bad shots define us is a struggle all too real. A good shot holds us up high, in clear regards to the small successes of life. While a bad shot can be very isolating and oftentimes remind us of how imperfect we are.

To these students, you may shoot a low score, but the real lessons lie within if you were a good teammate? How about a good playing partner? Did you text your parents you had arrived safely to the course? Did you encourage the younger or novice to just keep going.

Golf is an individual sport, but how did you use the moments in between the shots to remember someone other than yourself?

That’s golf and it’s a privilege to do this! by @pomeroygolf
