We named him Kylo. He took it as a brief. 🖤

Black pomsky puppy, ice-blue eyes, and the emotional range of an actual Sith Lord.
Tiny tantrums. Huge feelings. All theater, all fluff.

Tag someone whose dog grew into their name. 😈

The breed math nobody puts in the brochure. 🌀

50% husky. 50% pomeranian. 100% convinced they know better than you.
A pomsky doesn't disobey. A pomsky negotiates.

Send this to your fellow pomsky person. 👇

His regular vet found lower back pain, so he was referred to specialists. I’d been Googling scary possibilities, including a rare Husky nerve condition. The neurologist said his reflexes and nerves were completely normal. The orthopedic surgeon’s awake exam didn’t find it either. Under sedation, the X-rays and hip joint manipulation finally did: mild hip dysplasia in both hips, worse on the right.

My first feeling was relief. It wasn’t his nerves, it wasn’t surgery, and we finally had a real answer. Then came the sad part: he was born with this. Then we got to work.

(He also came home groggy, grumbly, and carrying kennel cough. Specialist day had a sequel.)

Where he is now: Spa Day 3 of 10 done today. 🌊🦈

Has your dog ever needed a whole team to figure out what was wrong? I’d love to hear how it turned out. 💛

Tell me I'm lying. 🐾

Four pomskies, one house, and a bathroom door that stopped meaning anything years ago.
There's always someone waiting outside. Sometimes all four.

Tag the dog mom who has never once peed alone. 👇

Nobody in this house has ever followed an instruction. 👑

Obi is the actual boss. Nobody listens.
Jabba thinks he's the boss. He isn't.
Saber was crowned "king" by the humans.
Kylo crowned himself at ten weeks old.

Who's really in charge at your place? 👇

I'm one day late for Black Dog Day. In my defense, nobody could find me in the dark. 🖤

Tiny 5 1/2 month old black wolf. Blue eyes. Zero regrets for being crazy.

Mom says black dogs are the hardest to photograph. I say she should stop moving and let me be dramatic.

She also says I'm the reason she hasn't slept through the night since I arrived. I prefer "quality time" while I destroy the comforter.

Belated celebrations still count. Drop your black floof below, or send this to someone with a void at home. 😈

Spa Day 2 report: I owe my physio a tennis ball. 🎾🦈

In my defense, I love balls very, very much. The humans are bringing her new ones. Several. As an apology.

Now the good news. My physio says I’m moving looser this week, which means the plan is working.

And a confession: when the session ended, I tried to get back in the tank. The dog who screams at the vet now has a favorite place, and it’s full of water. Nobody saw this coming, least of all me.

Thank you @eadierfysiotherapie for your patience, and sorry about the ball.

Does your dog have a toy they love so much they destroy it? Tell me which one.

This is the way. 🦴

Remember when everyone asked if I’d stay black? The adult coat has answered.

It’s coming in darker over the silver, one patch at a time. The puppy uglies are officially losing. I have been saying this would happen and nobody believed me.

Sunshine, grass, and a head tilt I did not practice. This is just my face.

Save this so we can compare in a few months. 🖤

For months, Jabba refused to jump off our bed. We thought he was being careful. He was telling us something.

It started small. We bought him stairs and moved on. Then one day he cried on the bed for 15 minutes rather than jump down. Over the next few months he got less active, started slipping, and walked with a strange swagger through his hips. His back legs and butt lost so much muscle you could see it.

None of it looked like an emergency on its own. Together, it was mild hip dysplasia starting to show up with him.

Save this in case your dog ever starts doing the same.

Did your dog show early signs you only understood later? Tell me what you noticed first. 💛
