KNEW LOVE

To all the lost loved ones, and to the ones who don’t speak on it often. We allow grief to come and go, we allow love to flood us. I will forever cherish this piece of work and everyone who poured hours of time, love, and vulnerability into it. I hope you show someone you love them. Time is never promised.

I will always love you 💙

Knew Love offers a rare window into the inner lives of young dancers processing grief not just individually, but in community. It honors their artistry and their pain, asking what it means to carry someone with you through movement, and what it means to be seen in your sorrow.

These feelings we go through as loss appears, are more shared than we know.

If you’ve lost someone you love, know you are not alone. These feelings are real, your voice is heard, and there are people who you can lean on. The amount of grief we hold never goes away, life just fills with more memories and experiences, but when our grief resurfaces, the emotions are always still intense.

Releasing all of this footage is resurfacing a whole stow of emotions. I hope it brings dialogue, I hope it allows you to ask for help, or to ask others if they need it. Check on your people more often.

Life is not promised, but I hope you can learn to love deeply, care freely, and feel immensely. 💙

Still taking this all in… our FIRST event to kick off our NYC fundraiser was something special. 🖤

We’re working to get 5 Black dancers out to NYC for 36 chambers of stylez taught by the originators and creators of hip-hop street dance as we know it and to see that vision already being supported like this means everything. The love in the room, the energy, the intention… it was felt.

And on top of that, it was our birthday. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend it.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, donated, poured into us, and believed in what we’re building. Thank you to those who donated and couldn’t make it. You’re just as much a part of this. And to everyone who sent good energy, kind words, or birthday wishes… I felt you too.

This is just the beginning. NYC, we’re coming.
