One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to 🪩

Dancing with Sophie Ellis-Bextor to her glossy nu-disco / dance-pop was the ultimate birthday gift from my love and it honestly couldn’t have been more perfect.

What. A. Night! 🪄

Save Googie in Brisbane! 🚀

There’s not much of it left! And what remains deserves to be protected...

Googie is a bold architectural style that emerged in Southern California in the 1940s and 50s, shaped by the optimism of the Space Age.
Much of this unique mid-century language has disappeared through demolition and redevelopment.

What remains is more than nostalgia! It’s a record of a time when architecture was allowed to be playful, optimistic and unapologetically futuristic.

Protect the weird! Protect the bold!
Protect Googie!

It's an echo all over the world today.

Her voice rises through the mountains and carries across the open fields into the world.

Everyone. A huge round of applause for Dolly Parton!
I'm to thankful you were here.
