100% you’ve made the biggest impact brother. My only real post because its been so hard just even having to go back and gather these throwbacks of us. So it’s about that time I finally make a post in regards to the highly emotional and unexpected passing of my pops. I wanted to make a cumulative new years post about the whole year but tbh everything I’ve done (bucket list and all) during 2022, pales in comparison to the last 3 months. I also want to do it as a dedication/commemoration to the man who raised me, influenced me, and made me the man I am today, so sorry in advance if it gets cheesy or sad…here it goes..

Dad, I’m gonna miss you wholeheartedly. I’m gonna miss hearing your random guitar solo sessions in the evenings before going to sleep. I’m gonna miss hearing your voice, singing karaoke in your little house in the backyard or even while you walk through the hallway. I’m gonna miss you telling me random stories about your life and even when you’d help give me mental descriptions of how the old West Covina, Rowland Heights, Pomona, LA and the 60 fwy used to be (those were one of my faves). I’m gonna miss watching you and mom watch tv in the living room and falling asleep together watching old music videos. There’s so much more but most of all I’m gonna miss how you were always there, NO MATTER WHAT, when I needed you. Whether it was a ride cuz my car wasn’t working or if I forgot my ID at home and I needed it asap because my flight was about to take off, you were always there. Thanks for your unending love and support that you gave to me, Naneng, and mom. I will make it my goal to be the man you were and much more. Your last clear words to me was when you were weak and mom asked who I was. You struggled, but you said “my son” and I promise to continue to make you proud to call me your son.

I wish we had more time, but cancer is a bitch that we can’t control, but I’m happy that we got to spend time together since I’ve been at home more and that we got to go fishing one last time because we’ve been saying forever that we had to go! I’m glad you’re not suffering anymore, but I will forever feel the pain of a missing a piece of my heart. Rest easy pops, watch over us, it’s not goodbye forever.. it’s just goodbye for now. I love you Dad, until we meet again. ♥️ by @poonerz_

Euro trip recap:

Man this was definitely one for the books! I’m glad I got to mark off so many things on my bucket list that I’ve been holding on for so long! I got to try all the delicacies from around the world, meet new friends, and try/do new things that I’ve never done. We went from Barcelona ➡️ Paris ➡️ Amsterdam ➡️ Belgium to end things off. It’s always good to do new things out of your normal comfort zone every once in awhile and this was lit 🔥. Can’t wait for the next adventures to come, thanks to everyone who planned (because I’m terrible at that) and got to enjoy this trip with me. Will be back again EU ✌🏽 #eurotrip2022✈️ by @poonerz_

2nd run of the season. Started off terrible, lost my left ear AirPod. Tried to make the best of it. Had some decent runs (gonna need new bindings already 🙄). At least the snow wasn’t terrible, it’s been a lot worse before, enjoy it while you can! Hung out with old friends and overall not too bad, mainly because I found this great app for finding my airpods **wunderfind** check it out if you don’t wanna lose your $300 accessories. Hey guys I wanted to give y'all an update on what happened since i know a lot of you would like to know. Volt needed to get an operation done because he had something blocking his urinary tract. Doctor said it wasn't an infection it was most likely something similar to kidney stones. The procedure would've cost a lot and they said there would be a possibility that it wouldn't fix it. There were also risks involved in doing the procedure itself and that even if the procedure was done, it may even come back. On top of that he has been needing to see the vet a lot more often because his immune system is fucked from the feline immunodeficiency virus ( cat AIDS). He was in a lot of pain the last couple days and could barely move. Even when I picked him up he would cry. It was with a heavy heart that I had to maker this tough decision but even the vet said it was probably the best. Otherwise I'd be having to spend a ton more money on him more and more. Honestly, I feel like I gave up on him with the decision I made and that's what hurt me the most, but it was prob best. I hated knowing he FIV and every vet visit have me anxiety knowing that one day the visit would be his last. But I did hold on as much as I could, thanks for the many years of happiness you gave to all the friends and family buddy, everyone's gonna miss you too. Tell foxy and sam in pet heaven that we all miss them too. 😭❤️🐱🐈 #ripvolt
