🇫🇷🎛️🎨 Thrilled as always to have anything by the captivating contemporary French minimal synth artist, Laurène Exposito. Today we’ve got two of her releases – one being the 10-year reissue of her 2010’s minimal reverb-drenched bedroom classic “Sabine,” the first release under her solo-act, “EYE.” In addition, we’ve got her latest release, “Diagonale Des Yeux” for which she teamed up with Théo Delaunay. While still heavily within the minimal-synth-pop sphere, there’s a touch of quirky mystery that really hits the spot (as seen in the video in the last slide). Both records released by Dutch label @knekelhuis_

FOR SALE (purchase via online shop!) Los Doberman’s De Huancayo – Los Bravos de la Cumbia Andina LP • Peru 🇵🇪 1984

Murky swirls of psychedelic Andean chicha magic.

VG/VG. Vinyl maintains some of its gloss, but shows hairlines, scuffs, and a few superficial marks under strong light. Nothing deep or serious though. A few whitish spots visible on track B5 that do not affect play. Laminated jacket is in strong VG shape, with just a bit of shelf wear and minor corner creasing on lower left. $100.

VG/VG+. Vinyl remains glossy, but shows hairlines, superficial scuffs, and a few marks when examined under strong light. Nothing deep or serious though. Flimsy cardboard jacket is in excellent shape as these things go. Just a few minor creases and a bit of edge wear on back lip. $120.

🛑SOLD!🛑 (purchase via online shop!) Vico Y Su Grupo Karicia – Con Amor... Para Ti LP • Peru 🇵🇪 1986

Synth-cumbia swagger dagger will cut you to the quick.

VG/VG. Vinyl is VG- due to a small scratch that causes 3 jumps on track A2. Vinyl shows hairlines, scuffs, and superficial marks, but plays mostly strong VG aside from the scratch mentioned. Jacket has general shelf wear, esp. Ring/rubbing wear, but presents well overall. $50.

🛑SOLD!🛑 (purchase via online shop!) Haruomi Hosono, Ishikawa, Matsutohya – The Aegean Sea LP • Japan 🇯🇵 1979

Not the elusive “The Aegean Sea” LP (with obi) by Haruomi Hosono & friends! As many of you may already you know, this one is non-existent on streaming platforms. So unless you’re a real peer-to-peer FLAC file digger, your most realizable option for listening these songs is with an actual physical copy. Just like the old days! Who wouldn’t prefer holding this in their hands anyway??

VG/VG+. With obi, insert, and Master Sound booklet. Vinyl is borderline VG+. Glossy and clean, but grading conservatively due to a handful of hairlines and scuffs visible under strong light. Jacket is in excellent shape. Obi has a neat fold mark on both sides, likely due to having been taken off and stored. Insert and booklet are likewise neatly fold in half like a pamphlet. $85.

🛑SOLD!🛑 (purchase via online shop!) Johan Timman – Trip Into The Body LP • Netherlands 🇳🇱 1981

This one’s a long time shop favorite. In 1982, Johan Timman, Dutch psychopath, made an analogue synth concept album about traveling through the human body Inner Space style. We first discovered this guy through YouTube years back when we saw a bonkers TV performance in which he plays his banger “The Blood Cells and the Antibodies (Look out for the Killer)” in front of a pool full of young people at night. The performance appears to end with Johan exploding on stage (see second slide).

VG/VG. Vinyl strong VG. Only a few superficial scuffs and hairlines when examined under strong light. Cover is decent shape, a bit of a smushed corner in the bottom left, but otherwise fine. $25.
