Shanka Tribe, an instrumental band from Kerala, is going viral for their modern take on ancient tribal rhythms. The band consists of 5 members each of whom play a variety of instruments from drums and guitars to didgeridoos and ukuleles. They create music that’s heavy on the percussions and synths with virtually no lyrics (until their most recent release Karmi).
