In 2019, I stepped onto the international pageantry stage, filled with dreams, determination, and a heart committed to making history. That year, I became the first African American woman to be titled Miss Africa USA 1st Princess (1st Runner-Up). It was a defining moment—but little did I know, it was just the beginning.

Seven years later, history has been rewritten ✨

Today, I stand before you, deeply honored and humbled, as the first-ever Honorary Queen Ambassador of @missafricausa !!!

I truly believe this crown is more than just a title—it’s a calling. A commitment to serve, uplift, and inspire. A promise to be a voice for women and girls who dream of stepping into their power. With this platform, I will continue to advocate for education, leadership, and empowerment—because empowered women, empower nations.

To @ladykateonline and the Miss Africa USA Organization—🙏🏾 thank you for believing in my journey and for creating a movement that amplifies the voices of African women across the globe. Congratulations to 20 years of greatness and many more to come!

To God, my mom, my sisters, my twin brother, my family, my friends, my supporters, my incredible dream team of coaches @ritagangwani_official @bodybycraig @pageantcrownafrica @princeglam_empire @conquerwithnikitatanwani @nikitatanwani @iam_khayceey (to name a few), and the beautiful Miss Africa USA sisterhood—your love and encouragement have been my greatest strength throughout this journey. Thank you sooo much for everything!! 💐

Lastly, I’d be remiss if I didn’t say that this moment is not mine alone. It belongs to every woman who has ever dared to dream, to rise, and to make a difference. May we continue to lift each other, break barriers, and build bridges that connect us all. #happywomensmonth

With gratitude, purpose, and unwavering faith,
Your Honorary Queen Ambassador, Miss Africa USA — Porscha Lee Taylor 🙏🏾✨

I still can’t believe it’s been 10 years since I was crowned Miss District of Columbia United States 2016—a beautiful moment I’ll never forget. 🥹👑

When I look back, I see a young woman with big dreams, a heart full of purpose, and no idea just how much life would unfold in the decade ahead.

That crown became more than a title for me. It showed me that I could dream bigger, keep showing up for myself, and continue evolving—no matter what life brought my way.

And I never stopped believing that there was more for me.

Today, I celebrate the young girl whose dreams became a reality as Miss District of Columbia, and who went on to proudly place Top 10 at @officialmissunitedstates 🇺🇸

But even more than the crown, the sash, or the placement, I celebrate the woman she became. A woman who continues to believe that there is always another chapter to write.

Here’s to 10 years of growth, grace, purpose, and stepping into every new chapter with courage. ✨

Forever grateful.
Forever proud.
Forever a Queen 👑

I will create global impact someday 🌍

Through my journey, I’ve learned that every opportunity I’m given to advocate, educate, and inspire is a beautiful reminder that using my voice is powerful — but creating space for others to use theirs is truly transformational.

So I’m proud to announce that I will be working closely with @youthforhumanrightsint to launch the new @yhrdc DC chapter by building a community of leaders committed to advocating for human rights far beyond one voice.

Because real change happens when we rise together!
