I’m very grateful to have had another beautiful climb of Denali, the Roof of North America, this spring. @cheyennechaffee and I had the privilege of guiding @shantapuchtler to the summit over 16 days. Thanks so much for the trust and letting us be a part of your journey, Shanta. Every inch of Denali is earned and it’s been pretty amazing to climb with Shanta the last three seasons in the Alaska Range working up to this goal. We had excellent weather and conditions almost the entire trip which is a rarity in these parts.

Thank you so much to @alaskamountaineeringschool for helping make this trip possible. It was also so great to see so many friends from all over the world up on the mountain! Headed home from another great trip to Nepal. Here’s a few random frames from the past two months. It’s not all climbing on these trips. Onwards to the Alaska Range in a few days.

It has been absolute privilege guiding Mount Everest with @climbingthesevensummits this spring. Congratulations to the team on safe and sucessful summits. We were fortunate to have a few moments on top of the world the morning of May 18th.

This expedition would not be possible without the support from @tag_nepal . From the Sherpa team, Basecamp staff, and staff back in Kathmandu everyone worked tirelessly with kindness, humility, and truly unbelievable strength. We appreciate ALL of you immensely.

Thank you @climbingthesevensummits for the opportunity, trust, and support. It is a top notch operation.

We’re looking forward to enjoying the last couple of days here in the Khumbu Valley before heading home. Spending a little extra time with my friends in Nepal is always a treat.

After being out almost all of June with knee that wasn’t too happy about big days in the mountains , it’s great to be back working in the Tetons. I can’t thank @jg_the_pt_ enough for helping me get back to the hills. Here’s some shots from a few successful Grand Teton Climbs the last couple of weeks. Excited for a summer full of climbing. Spring migration to the Alaska Range with @alaskamountaineeringschool. We had a great time climbing some of the classic routes around Denali basecamp and checking out some of the less traveled corners of the Kahiltna. Good weather, good company, and good food all make for a great climbing trip!

Very grateful for the time trekking and climbing in Nepal this spring. We had a great team of climbers! I am always excited to come for the mountains, but the people are really what make Himalaya so special.

It can be hard to motivate this time of year with rare days off and tired legs. A great lap around the high peaks with good friends this morning was worth yet another early wake up!
