Today, we paid a visit to Paul @newtoncourtcider . For those familiar with our taproom @theportbaruk , that’s the guy behind both ciders we constantly have on tap, ‘Gasping goose’ and ‘First press’. Paul called us and said: ‘Guys, I just opened my restaurant here in Hereford, and I would love to have your beers on tap.’ Quickly said and done, we equipped Paul’s place with four taps ready to dispense the juices of his and our labour. The happy faces prove that the mission is a great success! Now, to only say that the restaurant is impressive won’t be enough. You have to see it for yourself. The modern building, the food and, of course, the cider made there from the orchards you see out of the window are beautiful and inspiring!
Thank you for the opportunity, Paul and best of luck with your new venture! 😃🍻 taken in Newton Court Cider by @portisheadbrewco

This is ‘Common Sense’, a California Common Lager 4.5% It is full of surprise! As the recipe dictates, it’s been fermented on ale temperatures and it does trick you. Mouthfeel like a pale ale and light as lager. Born in San Francisco, brewed in Portishead. Pure beautiful magic! ☀️🌴🤗🍻 taken in Portishead, North Somerset by @portisheadbrewco
