POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Our first feature in our People of Portobello series. Meet Rosita 💛

Rosita has shaped Portobello Shack as a place where food, creativity and community come together. Her connection to Notting Hill runs deep; her godfather is Russell Henderson, who helped to create the Notting Hill Carnival.

Our series celebrates those who quietly define our neighbourhood and continue to shape its identity.

To read Rosita’s story in full, follow the link in our bio.

Pan is in her blood. Rosita Lynch grew up between her father's tenor pan and the London Caribbean music scene, goddaughter of Russell Henderson MBE and owner of Portobello Shack on Portobello Road. She joins our anniversary panel to ask what Notting Hill Carnival has become and what the next sixty years should hold.

Notting Hill Carnival: Past, Present and Future Wednesday 26 August, 6:30 – 8:30pm The Conservatory, Mason & Fifth, Westbourne Park £6. Book through the link in our bio.
