Durante sete dias, enchemos as ruas do Porto de alegria, sorrisos e muitos filmes à mistura! 🎥A todas as pessoas que conseguiram estar connosco esta semana, o nosso obrigada! ✨ Para quem não conseguiu aparecer, mas que nos acompanha através das várias plataformas, também deixamos um caloroso abraço. 🫂 Que tenham oportunidade de nos visitar no Porto, numa próxima edição! 🤍Este festival é feito por pessoas e para as pessoas. Sem o vosso apoio, a nossa luta não teria o mesmo sentido! Que o Porto Femme continue a contar ainda mais anos! E que continuemos a fazer com que o invisível, ganhe vida na tela! PT | O dia 26 de abril marcou o encerramento da 9.ª edição do Porto Femme. ✨A manhã começou com a sessão presencial do workshop “Estratégias Feministas de Contra-programação no Cinema”, orientado por Anastasia Lukonikova, encerrando um percurso de reflexão e trabalho desenvolvido ao longo da semana.Este foi também o dia para assistir às últimas sessões competitivas do festival e à sessão final da mostra especial LAVORES.Ao final da tarde, reunimo-nos no Batalha Centro de Cinema para a cerimónia de encerramento e entrega de prémios. Foi um momento de celebração dos filmes, das equipas, das pessoas convidadas, do público e de todas as pessoas que contribuíram para tornar esta edição possível.Parabéns a todos os filmes em competição e obrigada a quem fez parte desta 9.ª edição do Porto Femme. ❤️🎬ENG | April 26th marked the closing day of the 9th edition of Porto Femme. ✨The morning began with the in-person session of the workshop “Feminist Strategies of Counter-Programming in Cinema”, led by Anastasia Lukonikova, concluding a week of reflection and collaborative work.This was also the day of the festival’s final competition screenings and the last session of the special programme LABOURS.In the late afternoon, we gathered at Batalha Centro de Cinema for the closing ceremony and awards presentation. PT | O dia 25 de abril foi vivido de forma diferente no festival, marcado pelo Dia da Liberdade e pela greve que se fez sentir nesse dia. ✨Apesar dos desafios e das alterações à programação, mantivemos espaços de encontro, reflexão e diálogo.A conversa “O Trabalho das Margens” reuniu diferentes perspetivas sobre formas de trabalho frequentemente invisibilizadas ou marginalizadas, abordando temas como o trabalho sexual, o trabalho reprodutivo e outras realidades que continuam a desafiar estruturas de reconhecimento e direitos.Num dia marcado pela memória da luta coletiva e da conquista da liberdade, esta reflexão tornou-se ainda mais relevante.Obrigada a todas as pessoas que participaram e contribuíram para esta conversa.25 de Abril, sempre! ❤️ENG | April 25th was experienced differently at the festival, marked by Freedom Day and by the strike that took place that day. ✨Despite the challenges and programme changes, we continued to create spaces for encounter, reflection, and dialogue.The talk “Work at the Margins” brought together different perspectives on forms of labour that are often invisibilised or marginalised, addressing topics such as sex work, reproductive labour, and other realities that continue to challenge structures of recognition and rights.On a day marked by the memory of collective struggle and the achievement of freedom, this reflection felt especially relevant.Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to this conversation.25th of April, always! ❤️ by @portofemme

PT | No dia 24 de abril, o Porto Femme continuou entre cinema, encontros e partilha. ✨Nos Encontros de Bárbaras, realizou-se o “Go Bárbaras! Pitch That!”, uma sessão pública de apresentação de projetos desenvolvida com o acompanhamento de Alexia Muiños Ruiz.Durante a tarde, a conversa “O Caminho dos 50/50 – A Situação das Mulheres Trabalhadoras no Cinema e Audiovisual” reuniu diferentes perspetivas sobre as desigualdades e os desafios que persistem no setor.O programa especial LAVORES continuou a sua programação, enquanto as sessões competitivas deram a conhecer novos filmes e novas vozes.O dia terminou no Passos Manuel com a festa “Ovos Rotos”, um momento de encontro e celebração que reuniu participantes, pessoas convidadas e público. 🖤ENG | On April 24th, Porto Femme continued with cinema, encounters, and exchange. ✨As part of the Bárbaras Meetings, “Go Bárbaras! Pitch That!” brought together a public pitching session for projects developed with the support of Alexia Muiños Ruiz.In the afternoon, the talk “The Road to 50/50 – The Situation of Women Working in Film and Audiovisual” brought together different perspectives on the inequalities and challenges that still persist within the sector.The special programme LABOURS continued its screenings, while the competition sections introduced audiences to new films and new voices.The day ended at Passos Manuel with the “Ovos Rotos” party, bringing together participants, guests, and audiences in celebration. by @portofemme

PT | No dia 23 de abril, os festivais estiveram no centro dos Encontros de Bárbaras. ✨A atividade “Bárbaras Fazem Match com os Festivais” reuniu profissionais e representantes de festivais para partilhar experiências, criar contactos e discutir os desafios da exibição e da circulação cinematográfica.Neste dia teve também início o workshop “Encenar o Trabalho”, orientado por Tânia Dinis, e realizou-se a conversa “Desafios dos Festivais de Cinema de Mulheres”, dedicada ao papel destes festivais na criação de espaços de visibilidade, encontro e transformação.O almoço de networking contou com o apoio da Embaixada da Suíça em Portugal, a quem agradecemos a colaboração. 🤝Entre conversas, encontros e cinema, continuámos a construir coletivamente esta edição dedicada ao tema do trabalho.ENG | On April 23rd, film festivals took centre stage at the Bárbaras Meetings. ✨The activity “Bárbaras Match with Festivals” brought together professionals and festival representatives to share experiences, build connections, and discuss the challenges of film exhibition and circulation.This was also the first day of the workshop “Staging Labour”, led by Tânia Dinis, and of the talk “Challenges of Women’s Film Festivals”, dedicated to the role of these festivals in creating spaces for visibility, exchange, and transformation.The networking lunch was supported by the Swiss Embassy in Portugal, to whom we extend our thanks. 🤝Through conversations, encounters, and cinema, we continued to collectively build this edition dedicated to the theme of labour. by @portofemme

PT | O dia 22 de abril foi vivido entre o cinema, a reflexão e os encontros. ✨🎬A manhã começou com o workshop “Trabalho Precário em Festivais de Cinema: Estruturas, Experiências e Respostas Coletivas”, conduzido por Skadi Loist.Durante a tarde, realizou-se a conversa “O Que Aconteceu às Pioneiras do Cinema?”, dedicada à recuperação das histórias das mulheres na história do cinema, acompanhada pela Happy Hour da Cerveja Coruja. 🍻Foi também neste dia que tiveram início as sessões da mostra especial “Lavores”, com curadoria de Amarante Abramovici e Beatriz Diniz.À noite, vivemos um dos momentos mais marcantes desta edição com a sessão “Pioneiras do Cinema Português” e a homenagem a Raquel Soeiro de Brito. Os filmes selecionados por Ricardo Vieira Lisboa, em parceria com a Cinemateca Portuguesa, foram acompanhados pela sonoplastia ao vivo de MAYAN (Ana Rita Costa).Obrigada a todas as pessoas que fizeram parte deste dia. ❤️ENG | April 22nd was a day of cinema, reflection, and encounters. ✨🎬The morning began with the workshop “Precarious Work in Film Festivals: Structures, Experiences and Collective Responses”, led by Skadi Loist.In the afternoon, we hosted the talk “What Happened to the Women Pioneers of Cinema?”, dedicated to recovering women’s histories in cinema, accompanied by the Coruja Beer Happy Hour. 🍻This was also the day when the special programme “Labours”, curated by Amarante Abramovici and Beatriz Diniz, began.In the evening, we experienced one of the highlights of this edition with the session “Women Pioneers of Portuguese Cinema” and the tribute to Raquel Soeiro de Brito. PT | Um mês depois do fim da 9.ª edição do Porto Femme, regressamos a alguns dos momentos do dia 21 de abril. ✨🎬Foi um dia intenso, marcado pelas primeiras sessões competitivas, pelas atividades do programa Femme nas Escolas, pela cerimónia de abertura e pela festa Turno da Noite, que prolongou os encontros e as celebrações para lá das salas de cinema.Entre filmes, conversas e partilhas, demos início a uma edição dedicada ao tema do trabalho, refletindo sobre as suas múltiplas formas, visíveis e invisíveis, dentro e fora do cinema.Deixamos também um agradecimento especial à Quinta do Pôpa, que nos brindou com os seus vinhos. 🍷Obrigada a todas as pessoas que fizeram parte deste dia e desta edição.ENG | One month after the end of the 9th edition of Porto Femme, we look back at some of the moments from April 21st. ✨🎬It was an intense day, marked by the first competition screenings, the Femme in Schools programme, the opening ceremony, and the Night Shift party, which extended the encounters and celebrations beyond the cinema venues.Through films, conversations, and shared experiences, we began an edition dedicated to the theme of labour, reflecting on its many visible and invisible forms, both within and beyond cinema.We would also like to extend a special thank you to Quinta do Pôpa for generously offering their wines. 🍷Thank you to everyone who was part of this day and of this edition. by @portofemme
